This WILL contain slightly spoiler if you have not watched Cycle 3 of Britains Next Top Model (not major but just a warning)
In cycle 3 of Britain's Next Top Model I heard possibly the most shocking thing I could hear and this comes (I think) after all the things about how there shouldn't be so many skinny models.
Episode 10 thy are in Brazil, yes a lot of nice bodies (I thought they were more curvaceous there?) the photo shoot was of the ladies in swimsuits taking sexy photos with male models. At judging time the woman told one of the girls she wasn't skinny enough and had to lose the tummy if she were to book her. The girl was of perfect weight and almost had protruding pelvic bones.
I have now been watching Cycle 2 and I think there was another mention of weight. Britain's Next Top Model really needs to take a page out of America's Next Top Model's book and start accepting that not everyone is a size 0. In America's Next Top Model they have given a lot of plus sized models a chance and will not go "go and lose some weight".
It's horrible and I don't understand how Tyra can keep letting Britain do this to a show she is supposed to feel quite passionate about and the world of modelling. It all just disgusts me they are encouraging these girls to be stick thin.
(I am not able to find a photo of the photo shoot I mention as the website for BNTM does not have (or from what I can find) the full photos from the photoshoots, sorry)
