Okay, I wrote this just as I got back from a party, so it might not be the best ever. I was half asleep and chugging a bottle of purple gatorade. XD Well, enjoy!

I was hanging upside down on my bed, thinking about what I should do today. It's been almost 7 years since I met everyone in the Brigade, and even though we're all in our twenties now, we still have all the fun we can. Oddly enough, The Esper, Lauren, Itsuki, Kyon and I all go to the same collage. Which isn't far from North High. Noth High.... good times....
ruff ruff, ruff ruff My puppy-dog ringtone went off. I fell on my head. I didn't realise how loud it was. I got up and answered my cell phone.
"Ello,"
"Hey Haruhi," Itsuki's sleepy voice answered. I looked at the time, it was 7:09 AM. What was he doing up so early?
"Hi Itsuki, what's on your mind?"
"Well, I know it's early but I wanted to ask you what you wanted to do today. I mean, if you wanted to spend any time with me. It is our 5th anniversary..." He mumbled.
I looked at the calander. Oh hot damn, he was right, and I forgot about it!
"Oh, yeah! Sure. You suprise me, 'kay? I have to go."
"Oh well, meet me at the train station to start with?"
"Sure, 8:00 AM sound okay?"
"Sounds good, Bye." He said pleasently.
I closed the phone and set it back on my dresser. I hopped up to take my daily shower.
I sat down on the floor with my back agaisnt the wall at the Station. I was 10 minutes early. I decided to wear a denim skirt, white long sleeve shirt, and a brown carhartt jacket. Topped off with my hair in a messy pony-tail and knee-high black and white socks. It was pretty cold today. I looked at my phone and I had 1 missed message from Itsuki. Turns out we're actually meeting at the cafe. Oh well. I got up and walked to the local cafe.
I found Itsuki easily. He was wearing a brown jacket that looked very nice on him, with a forest green shirt under it. I sat down next to him and smiled. I looked and saw that his was a carhartt too, and laughed.
"We match," I smiled.
He smiled with me and took my hand and held it.
"Sorry it's so early by the way," He said.
I nodded. "It's okay. I didn't have anything else to do," I smiled.
After a good two hours of talking and eating, we decided to leave the cafe and head to the park. Itsuki lead me to a bench where we both sat. I leaned into him and layed my head on his chest.
He stroked my hair while I mumbled,
"Wow... five years..."
Itsuki smiled. "It's amazing. I feel like I'll never stop loving you Miss Suzumiya," He kissed my forehead.
I blushed. "I feel the same..."
Itsuki laughed to himself. "Well... I guess you wouldn't mind if I do this..." He stood up and pulled me with him. Holding my hand, he got down on one knee and dug into his pocket. My eyes widened.
"Haruhi Suzumiya... I've loved you for more then five years now... And I've been wanting do this for a long time... I just needed to find the right moment and I'm almost 100 percent sure that moment is now," He took out a little black box and opened it.
"...Will you marry me?" The four words I've been longing to hear ever since we first kissed.
"...YES!" I screamed as I threw myself at him. I didn't even look at the ring, I was just so happy this was actually happeing to me right now!
I was crying tears of joy while he held me tight. I dug my face into his shoulder while he kissed my hair. His jacket smelt really good by the way...
Itsuki lifted my face from his should and pulled me back a bit. He took my ring finger and slipped the beautiful ring on. It was filled with diamonds, all around the band and on the top where a diamond rose layed.
He smiled as I stared at it.
"It was my mother's. As you know, she passed a while ago, but she told me to give this to my love." He held my hand and squeezed it.
I sniffled and laughed. "It's beautiful..."
"My mother would have loved to meet you..." He sighed.
I kissed him softly and looked him in the eyes.
"I would love to meet her too," I frowned slightly.
Itsuki laughed and kissed my forehead.
"I love you so much..." He smiled.
"Mhm, but... I love you more!"
He gasped. "Lies!" He shouted playfuly.
I laughed and jumped on his back. "It's true!" I snuggled my head by his as he gave me a piggyback ride to our next destination.
