Yes, actual Paul Rudd made a brief vocal appearance on the show as the narrator of a zombie documentary that goes viral.

In one scene, Chase Graves asks: "Is that Paul Rudd narrating the documentary?" and Graves later calls him a "good get".

Fans were naturally pretty over the moon with the cameo:
