After waiting eight seasons to meet Mrs. Mac Taylor, CSI: NY fans will see her twice in one year. Jaime Ray Newman will reprise her role as Claire, the late wife of Mac (Gary Sinise), in the Season 8 finale, TVLine reports.

Newman first appeared in the season premiere, which flashed back to Claire's death in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Claire's reappearance comes just as Mac is embarking on a new relationship with Christine (Megan Dodds), who was introduced last week.

CSI: NY aired its winter finale on Friday and will return on March 30 with its remaining five episodes.

Rubberneck is written by Alex Karpovsky and Garth Donovan, directed by Alex Karpovsky. It will be making its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 20th.
