Celebrities have far-reaching and glamorous ways of exacting revenge on their ex-partners. They do it in the pages of glossy fashion magazines and in interviews with Vanity Fair. Next month’s W magazine features link and her co-star in her latest film The Bounty Hunter, Gerard Butler, posing as a couple on the cover and a fashion spread inside.
The photographer for the shoot is Steven Klein, who back in July 2005 also shot Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie posing as a 1960s married couple around the time his affair with Jolie became public: the story was called, “Domestic Bliss”. The piece sparked outrage in the celebrity gossip press and led to Aniston tearfully telling an interviewer that her soon-to-be ex husband was missing “a sensitivity chip.” The Pitt/Jolie shoot was to promote the 2005 film Mr & Mrs Smith (it was on the set of that film that the pair fell in love and Pitt left his wife, Aniston).
