Gibbs was in his basement working on his boat when he heard a knock at the door."uugghh"he groaned and walked to the door.When he opened it there was a young girl,no older than 16 with dark brown hair and emerald green eyes.When he looked into the he couldnt help but think of Jenny.
"Speacial agent gibbs?"
"Yes,who are you?"
"Hi my name is ALexis marie shepard and yes im related to Jenny shepard and no im jenny shepard is not my mother,shes my aunt."
"Your aunt?"
"Yes and i need to tell you something.jenny shepard is not dead." he looked at the girl in shock.
"Wait,how could she not be dead.she got shot nd died 2 years ago." gibbs said
"thats what everyone thought.Im training to be a agent,when she was at the diner franks called me saying there might be trouble.I got jroped off a half a mile uo from the diner and i walked until i was out back.WHen the shooters came in i watched through the window out bback.When thelast shooter was about to shoot i shot him through the window and he died instantly.I came in through the back and me and Jenny ran to the getaway car and drove away.shes been in the wtp for 2 years now.only my mom,herself and myself knows about it until now."
"Well is she now?" she turned around and waved for someone to come.He heard a car door open and close.Then he heard the unmistakable clicking of her heels.She walked up to the door and looked him in the eyes.
"Jethro"
"Jenny" They looked at each other,and Alexis could feel the tension in the air.
"Well im going to caitlyn's house aunt jenny call me if anything goes wrong." and with that she ran down the street.
"Can i come in jethro?"
"Yea" she walked in and he closed the door behind her.Then he turned around and faced her.
"Jethro i-" but before she could say anything he had her wrapped into a hug.Tears started rolling down her cheeks and she buried her face in his shoulder.
"Jethro im so sorry i wanted to come tell you but i just couldnt,im sorry please dont be mad at me."
"Jen,i could never be mad at you,it wasnt your fault,its ok."
"i just didnt want you to get hurt,if you got hurt i,i dont know what i would have done." she looked up at him.he brushed his lips against hers
and she knew that everything was alright.
"So your niece."He said playfully
"Is one damn good agent." she played back
"mabye she can be on my team when she gets good enough."
"she is good enough,she learns from the best."
"well lets see how sharp your skills are in other subjects if you know what i mean."
