I don't give a damn 'bout my reputation
You're living in the past it's a new generation
A girl can do what she wants to do and that's
What i'm gonna do
An' i don't give a damn ' bout my bad reputation
Oh no not me
An' i don't give a damn 'bout my reputation
Never said i wanted to improve my station
An' i'm only doin' good
When i'm havin' fun
An' i don't have to please no one

When you were down they were never there All the sycophants they love to make romance When you're all alone you really get to learn If you get back up they gonna come around To the ugly sound of 'em tellin' you what you 'cause they all agree you're supposed to have a better life Wanna hear an' you pretend But you're feelin' worse An' they build you up till you fool yourself that you're Something else an' it's like a curse cause An' they tell you that you're losin' friends You can't live up to what they made of you Losin' friends, losin' friends Ya don't lose when you lose fake friends Ya got...
• Aggressive, tough and defiant may describe me, but that leaves the impression I'm mean and I'm not. People expect me to have fangs.
• I think I would die without good music
• No ones immune now, to a world of problems. No ones exempt now, from a world of pain!
• And you have a record company behind it, this is a key too, you need people to fight for your records, at least a little bit. So if you have a great song, it's catchy, and you've got a little bit of help, I think that's all you need. But there hasn't been that in music.
When people search for female rolemodels there usally Amelia Earheart or the chick who made that radioactive stuff. My point is that there always people like scientists or movie stars or people that did good deeds around the world, when my counsler asked me who was my role model I said "Joan Jett" my counsler had a look on her face and said "Why?" and I said "She provided a world with awesome music and she proved the women/girls can rock as much as guys can."
Joan Jett is my idol/role model she is the person I want to be, I know thats impossiable but it can probably happen.
