Will was qualified for a wish because he doesn’t have a pituitary gland. Because of this, Will suffers from several different conditions, including adrenal deficiency and severe hypoglycemia. For these conditions, Will must take daily regimens of medications and steroids along with daily hormone injections. His bone growth has slowed even though he is only 8, and, if he is ever injured, he must be taken immediately to the emergency room.

In 2011, Kids Wish Network organized an amazing experience for a little boy named Will that centered around his wish to meet his hero, WWE Superstar John Cena.

“William is his [John Cena’s] biggest little fan,” said Will’s father. “He was so excited. When John Cena walked in the room, Will just lit up!”

Cena, who is of part Italian descent[citation needed] was born April 23, 1977, in West Newbury, Massachusetts, the son of Carol and John Cena, Sr. He is the second eldest of five brothers – Dan, Matt, Steve, and Sean. After graduating from Cushing Academy, Cena attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
