End of Chapter 4
"If you want her back, you must play my game." Carlisle continued, ignoring my growls. "I will send another message...OH and I wouldn't bother having Alice look for her. She won't see anything, Bella is blindfolded and kept away from...us. She will find NOTHING if she keeps looking." Carlisle said as he looked at Alice, who's mouth had dropped open.
"I will send the next clue tomorrow. Don't worry, your precious Bella will be alive as long as you play along." Carlisle said as he dropped the letter as if it burnt him.
I stood up, not caring if the letter was done or not. I had to get away, had to go find her, had to save here...had to be with her no matter what.
I was almost to the door when I heard Carlisle say "Emmett." I turned, wondering what he was talking about when I felt Emmett's arms wrap around me. I tried to fight but at the same second, I felt something bite into my arm and everything went foggy.
Chapter 5
******Bella's POV******
It was like any other night, Edward and I had spent the entire day together with his family. It was so fun to go to his house, his 'brothers and sisters' were so amusing. They are all so very different, but at the same time they all cared for each other...even if they wouldn't let the others know that.
I had just walked in the door, still laughing as I thought about how Alice and Rosalie had played dress up with me again. The outfits they found...I swore that they bought clothes in my size and style just so they could dress me up.
"Bella?" Charlie called from the couch.
"Yes, dad who else would it be?" I called as I walked past the living room, laughing to myself as I saw him in his usual spot.
"Did you eat?"
"Nope, hungry?" I called as I made my way into the kitchen.
"I can always eat." He said as he turned his head to watch me walk by.
"Ok, I'll go get something going." I said as I walked into the kitchen.
I walked in, looking around as I tried to decide what to make for dinner. We had fish the last few days...and well I was quickly running out of new ways to cook smelly fish. I opened the cupboard and pulled out the fixings for pancakes, turning to the fridge to get some sausage that I had seen hidden on the bottom shelf.
I mixed everything together and started the sausage, grinning as I heard Charlie sniff and groan. I knew he must have been waiting for me to get home before he forced himself to cook.
I was just about to pour the pancakes into the pan when I remembered that I promised to email my mother tonight...I knew that if I didn't do it, that she would be calling..panicked about how I am not responding.
"I'll be right back dad, have to go email mom before she calls...again." I called as I turned the sausage and ran up the stairs.
"Yeah, please do. Nobody wants your mother calling upset again." He called from his spot.
I ran up the stairs, opening my door and turning on the computer within seconds. I was just about to sit down when I heard the strangest sound behind me. I figured Edward had come back, so I turned to smile at him....but all I saw was a shadow.
"Edward?" I called as I suddenly got nervous. It wasn't like him to do this..he knew I didn't like to be scared. "Not funny." I called as I spun around.
I kept looking in the shadows, but no matter how hard I looked, there was no one there. I was just scaring myself, overactive imagination and all.
I went back to sit at the computer as it finally loaded to the main screen. I turned to look at the screen and saw someone pass in the background. I knew my mind wasn't playing tricks on me...there was someone in my room.
"Who's there?" I called, hoping that Edward or Alice would walk out of the shadow's but no one did.
I was about to turn and start my email when I felt something press against my face. I went to scream but when I opened my mouth I inhaled...
"Are you sure you didn't kill her?" I heard a voice ask.
"She's not dead, you can hear her heart as well as I can. She should be waking soon....in fact." Another voice called as I turned to my side.
"Ahhhh she awakens." The first voice called.
"Where?" I said as I realized I had no idea what was going on. I didn't know where I was...what was going on?? I knew that I was blindfolded, and it seemed like I was laying on the ground..but what was going on?
"Ahhh she has questions. Should we answer?"
"No, let's let her sit. She's still out of it." Someone said.
"Wait!" I called after them.
"Yes?"
"Where am I? What's going on?" I cried.
"Don't worry about it, you are safe...for now" The voice called as I heard a door close and their laughter fade.
"Wait!! Come back!!" I screamed as I heard another door close behind them, their voice's fading. "Don't leave me here, please!" I cried as I curled into a ball.
I was so confused, what was going on? I remembered cooking dinner, I ran upstairs to email Renee', a shadow...then nothing.
I didn't know what was going on...I knew I was alone...I couldn't hear anyone. My heart sank into my stomach as I thought about Charlie not knowing where I went...and...I couldn't think of him...no...my Edward...what was he doing? Did he know I was missing...would anyone notice?? Would anyone find me?? My fears took over, the tears soaking into the blindfold...I cried until I slept.
