Aang woke up with a quick start. He looked around the tiny camp fire at all his freind sleeping, and slowly his heart began to slow. He slid down Apaas side a stretched, trying his hardest not to wake anyone up, he tiptoed past Sokka, who was moaning in his sleep, " Please mister chicken i promise ill go vegie..". Smiling to himself he carried on his silent walk, he stopped a few metres from Tophs tent, and lightly as possible he jump from the ground and landed in a tree. Jumping from branch to branch he reached his destination, the edge of the cliff. he sat wide eyed waiting for the moment he had been dreaming about, sunrise. A few minutes passed before any light bagan to shine and a good bit later before the sun was up, and as if the sun was his energy Aaang woke up the more that he could see the beautifull morning sun.All of a sudden his body was very tense and alert he sat straighter and gripped his staff that little bit more tighter, swinging his body around with all his force he atacked his own atacker. Katara acting deffensively used the water from her water bottle and turned it into a hand which she used to stop Aangs staff from getting too close.
"Katara!" Aang yelled jumping up from the edge and running towards her. Katara smiled and put her hand on his shoulder,
"Its fine i should have told you i was here, sorry," Realising her hand was now on Aangs chest she blushed and pulled her hand away. Aang who cant resist a good blush turned bright red, and felt that he couldnt speak so he just took her hand and sat on the ground once more, Katara seeing what he was doing joined in and sat beside him. no words were spoken, they didnt have to be, and kataang started the new day with a kiss, oblivious to the new danger that awaits them, the new danger ahead.
