Zexion: Jason's buisness doesn't matter to me. At least, not as much as it does to someone else.
Life returned to some semblance of normalcy in the Castle that Never Was. Larxene and Jason managed to get Xigbar to tell them where the rest of the pictures were. To Xigbar's credit, he managed to resist twenty minutes of interrogation that could've put the CIA to shame before cracking. After Larxene collected and burned the pictures,(besides a select few.) she placed the unconsious, bloodied Xigbar on a sofa in the Grey Area. When everyone entered the Grey Area the next morning, they saw Xigbar and learned that Larxene wasn't losing her touch. Marluxia, of course, woke up with a rather ugly bruise on his forehead. But he was proud of it, because he earned it defending his friend. So almost everyone went back to fearing Larxene, and that was the way she liked it. But, of course, the one part of her she denied came back…
Day 60: in the eyes of a big sister. Larxene's room: Jason woke up. He looked next to him and saw that Larxene was still asleep besides him. Jason didn't know what disturbed him more, what he had done recently for Larxene, his feelings for her, or the rumor going around. Jason never noticed it, but he looked exactly like Axel. Everyone thought that was the only reason Larxene kept him around. Now, Jason wanted to go home more than anything, but his feelings for Larxene kept him chained to the Castle. If the rumor was true, well… Jason had asked Zexion about it, and Zexion had said, "I have no place in human emotions. Ask someone else." Of course, a big part of Jason still didn't fully acknowledge his feelings. Jason got out of bed and got dressed in an Organization coat, as usual. Some members jokingly called him the fifteenth member of the Organization. Then, Jason took a look at the calendar. It was July 15th, 53 days after Larxene had first taken him away from home. It was also—Jason gasped. Today was his 18th birthday. This put Jason in a depressive state, and he made his way out of Larxene's room.
Larxene woke up alone. She glanced around, surprised. Maybe she didn't love Jason (at least that's what she told herself), but he had become a big part of her daily life. Surely he didn't believe that stupid rumor that she wanted Axel? She respected him, sure, but who was it that woke up next to her three days a week? Jason. Larxene got dressed and took a
disinterested look at the calendar. It read, in Jason's handwriting, "it's my eighteenth birthday." There were dried tears on the calendar. Larxene blinked. No one cared about birthdays in the Organization. Larxene couldn't even remember her own birthday. But Jason was human, not a Nobody. With this in mind, Larxene decided to give Jason a birthday present.
Zexion's room: Jason had stopped crying, thanks to Zexion, who had been annoyed by the crying. All it took was a book wrapped in paper. Zexion was telling Jason, "don't cry all day. Please. It's irritating." Jason was about to say something
when Larxene barged in and dragged Jason out. Zexion wondered if this was going to become a habit. It probably was.
Halls of the Castle: "where are we going?" "on a mission." "now? Really? Why?" "please stop talking" Larxene took Jason through the Dark Corrider.
Twilight Town: The look on Jason's face when he saw where he was was priceless. Jason looked at Larxene. "why are we here?" Larxene stared into Jason's green eyes, and admired the flame of his spirit, which still burned, but not as strong as before. "We're here on a mission." Jason and Larxene killed Heartless for an hour, then Larxene put part two of her plan in action, and took him to his old home. Jason looked at Larxene again, and she said, "You wanted to see them, didn't you? Let's go." Larxene and Jason walked to the front door, and Jason knocked on it tentatively. The door opened, and Jason's father stepped out. Jason's father had short, reddish hair, light green eyes, and stood tall, but not as tall as usual, because he was bent over with grief over his missing son. Then his eyes saw Jason, looked over to Larxene, and made the connection. Jason's father took a swing that caught Larxene's jaw. She staggered back, caught off guard. "Relase my son, now!" he snarled.
Larxene had to admit she should have seen that coming. "oh, quiet." she said once she had her wind back. Jason's father charged again, but Larxene took out her knives, stopping him dead in his tracks. Larxene was starting to understand where Jason's spirit came from. "let's all go inside. Please?" this plea came from Jason, who looked panicked. Everyone stepped inside, ableit grudgenly.
Jason's house: Jason's mom was sobbing quietly in a chair when everyone entered the room. "JASON!!" she shouted when she saw him, and grabbed her son in a bear hug. "I'm ok, Mom." Jason's mom looked at Larxene, then asked, "who's she?" Jason hated to have to do this, but it was necessary. "she was the one who took me away, Mom. I have to go back with her when today ends." Jason's mom stood and faced Larxene. She had bright auburn hair and emerald green eyes. She looked at Larxene in the eyes and said, "I will give you anything for my son back. Anything." Larxene was once again impressed. It seemed that Jason's family had a very fiery spirit, but where did his intelligence come from? "That's not possible, Ma'am," Larxene said, making Ma'am sound insulting, "Your son belongs to me. I just wanted to make sure he had a good birthday." "I see," said Jason's mom, "well, I'll get started on the food. After we eat, you'll tell me everything." She started to leave the room, but Jason stopped her and asked, "Mom, where's Eileen?" She turned back and said, "Your big sister is on her way home. Come to think about it, I'd better call her and tell her to bring a cake." With that, she left. The day wore on, and eventually Jason's older sister Eileen arrived with the cake. When Eileen saw Jason she wrapped him in a hug. Then her eyes saw Larxene, and she looked between Larxene then Jason and a twinkle lit up in her eyes. Dinner was a little akaward, but passed on. When the cake showed up, Larxene said, "If I take in anymore family time, I'll puke." and left. Jason's family celebrated his birthday, and Jason secretly took a piece of cake to Larxene, who secretly ate it. Next, Jason's family reminisced about old times, and of course Jason told his family what happened the day he disappeared, and his life since. Jason left out a few parts, like when he assaulted Xigbar and how he seduced Larxene, and that they slept together three days a week ever since. Larxene eavesdropped on the conversation to learn more about her lover. His discretion justified her confidence in him. Then, Eileen cleared her throat and requested some alone time with her little brother. Jason's parents granted it, and the siblings went to Eileen's room. Larxene secretly followed.
Eileen's room: "So I guess you're leaving after this?" "yeah, Big Sis." "May I ask why?" Jason cleared his throat. "my captor, Larxene, has thirteen companions. She won't hesitate to use them to retrieve me. I'm her slave." Eileen thought on this, and said, "you're a slave, all right. You're in love with her." Jason reeled back, caught off guard. He had forgotten how intuitive his sister could be. Jason looked at his older sister, who had long, red hair and bright, intelligent eyes the color of lime. "I am not!" He protested. "little brother, maybe our parents are blinded by parental rage, but I see it clear as day." "I'm not in love with her!" "ok. Convince me you're not in love with her." Jason told Eillen that Larxene was a Nobody, and what it meant. Eileen winked at her brother and said, "you haven't said a single thing to convince me." Jason knew she was right, and so told her about Larxene's general personality. Eileen remained unconvinced, and as a last resort, Jason told her about how he looked like Axel, and who he was. Eileen asked Jason to describe Axel's personality, and he did, from what little he knew of him. Eileen sat back and said, "I don't blame Larxene, or you, little brother. I don't even blame love, for binding you to her." Jason knew it was useless to try to fool his older sister. He couldn't even fool himself. "Jason, this Axel sounds smooth, cocky, and self-confident. Am I right?" Jason nodded. That was Axel in a nutshell. "Then don't worry, he's no threat to your love for Larxene." Jason looked up sharply. "And one other thing: Larxene loves you too. I can tell. I hate to have to say goodbye to you, little brother, but at least it's with someone you love, that loves you back." Jason felt like he could kiss Eileen. "come on, let's say goodbye to Mom and Dad."
The goodbye was teary, but Jason's family was glad to know he was alive and well. Larxene vaugely hinted at future visits, and Eileen whispered in Jason's ear, "Congratulations on losing your virginity, little brother." Nothing got past Eileen, and Larxene finally understood where Jason's wisdom came from. She looked in Jason's eyes, and saw his spirit burning brighter than ever. Now all that was left was to clear up a few misconceptions.
Larxene's room: Larxene and Jason were getting ready for bed, and out of nowhere came, "Josnax." Jason looked up. "good. I'd like you to be aware of something, Jason. I don't run a daycare." Larxene, I'd like—" Larxene silenced him with a wave and continued, "if you're here, it's because I want you here. I know what the other members are saying, so let me ask you something: if I wanted Axel, don't you think I would have snagged him by now?" Jason was struck dumb by the simplicity of this statement. "The truth is, though I respect him, Axel isn't you. You're worth my time, and he isn't. Understood?" Jason responded with a kiss, and said, "tonight isn't over. Is it, Larx?"
Axel's room: Axel sat stunned on his bed. Sitting with him were his two closest friends, Roxas and Xion. «it can't be true,» Axel thought. «it just can't» Axel had been on his way to his room when he passed by Larxene's room, and overheard the conversation. Larxene was lying. She had to be, because she couldn't possibly prefer the human look-alike over Axel. Right? "I'm going to have to get rid of him," Axel said aloud. "you're my best friend, Axel. If you want my help, you have it." Axel felt grateful for Roxas's statement. "you and Roxas gave my life meaning. So count me in." this came from Xion. "thanks, guys," Axel said sincerely, "but I'll try to do this on my own first." His friends nodded and went to their rooms. Axel laid back on his bed. Once he got rid of Jason, Axel would demonstrate to Larxene how much better the real deal was.

Not much to do today. Looking back at my life, I say it was fine. I have no regrets. I sigh and peek at what he's doing. The one that has my appearence is eating Sea-Salt Ice Cream. Yum! The red head is saying something, but it's too blurry for me to hear. The girl is smiling, but not really paying attention.
It pains me sometimes. The three remind me of what I used to have. Terra. Aqua. I wonder where they are now? My memories are fading fast. Maybe when my host gets a heart I can be free. Maybe Sora found a way to free me, if he hasn't forgotten me.
I slide back down into the Darkness. Vantias is glaring at me again, but I'm to tired to fight with him today. "Oathkeeper!" Vantias hisses. "Oblivion." I yawn back. My energy was all used up. Closing my eyes, I hear them, whispering from my memories.
"Ventus! Ventus! Ventus!" Yawning, I imagine laughing and sparring with Terra and Aqua as I drift.
