"Um, D-Dark?"

"Dark! Are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. ow.."
I woke up to hear my boyfriend calling my name. We were fighting Ganondorf so he would give me freedom, but he overpowered us. I was in Link's bed, and he had already healed himself. Link looked like he was going to burst into tears at any moment. "What's wrong, Link?"
"...sniff."
"Link? What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"Dark, I didn't want you to get hurt..."
"It's okay, Link. I'll heal eventually."
"B-But..."
"I'll be fine here. Go outside for a bit."
"Okay..."
I gave Link a kiss to his forehead, and he went outside.
*Link's POV*
I don't know why Dark wanted me outside for, so I started thinking about he would want for his birthday, which was about a month away. Then I bumped into Zelda. "Oh, h-hey, Princess Zelda, um, what brings you here?"
"Aw, Link. You're so cute."
My face turned red. "Um, Princess, that d-didn't answer my question."
"I just wanted to walk here. So, um, how's Dark?"
She said the part about Dark with some envy. "Um, he's healing up. I've gotta get back to him now. Bye!"
