Brittany and Whitney are jerky, stuck-up know-it-alls. That is true; and I'm not denying it. However, there is more to them then it appears.
The Biskit twins were only five years old when their mother died. Their father, unsure how to take care of them, let the twins do what they pleased. As a result, the twins turned spoiled and cruel.
One day while they were taking a stroll down the road, discussing which clothing store to go to next, they saw a girl standing by that stupid pet shop. The twins stopped and exchanged looks.
"Her, like, fashion sense sucks," Brittany said with a flick of her wrist.
"Totally. But, like, maybe we can fix her or something."
"Sure. Worth a try, I guess. But don't, you know, count on it."
"Right. Come on."
The twins approached the girl. Perhaps, they thought, here was someone they could finally befriend.
And, like they had been time and time again, they were wrong. Their snootiness and cruelty didn't warm up to the girl (Blythe, they learned her name was) and they left as friendless as they had came.
"I guess, like, it was worth a try," Whitney said after a while.
"Yeah. But wouldn't it, like, be cool to have one friend?"
Whitney shrugged, trying to seem indifferent. "Sure, like, I guess if would be..."
The twins fell quiet, thinking. Finally, to break the silence more than anything, Brittany spoke up.
"Cute dress. We should totes get matching ones."
