Should I give him space?

Ok, well first of all I give you my sympathy. It must be tough. And I must say that I think your parents should've asked you what was going on before they talked to the guy [no offence to them of course]. I think they might have jumped to conclusions that you could've helped out with. Also, I do think that you should give him some space for a while. He needs to cool off for a bit and when he's ready he'll talk to you again. You should ask your friend how he's been acting around them and see if it's just you [which for your sake I hope it's not] or if something else is bothering him. Your summer might have been a heartbreak [so has mine might I add] but my friend told me that I should have a schooltime crush and a summer crush. I think you should too because you will forget about your school crush for a little bit and that will make things slightly better. I hope I helped!
