Does anybody know how Francis ever got fired from the Grotto, and if he did, could anybody tell me how?

Yes, he did get fired, but I can't remember how...

The grotto dude ranch job was cut out from the show because Kenneth Mars was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A battle our beloved Mr. Mars lost I believe three to four years later. I wondered what happened myself and found out through other article and Wikipedia. I guess it was written that Francis lost the job because a money error involving what was an atm machine or something like that. We really loved the Otto character and wished they could have made Francis a better exit from the grotto the way they did. My guess it was written out quickly due Mr Mars illness. Rest in peace Mr. Mars and thank you for all the incredible characters you perfected and made us laugh..... 😪😪
