McFly is a band from England. The band was formed in 2004. The 4 members of the band are Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, and Harry Judd. They got the record for the youngest band ever to have an album debut at #1. Their three albums, Radio:Active, Wonderland, and Room On The Third Floor were #1 one on the UK charts. Their third album Motion in the ocean was #6 on the UK Charts. Their fifth album All The Greatest Hits was debuted #4 on the UK charts. McFly appeared in a U.S. teen comedy movie called Just My Luck. McFly has performed in many Charity's such as Comic Relief, Live 8, and Sport Relief. After leaving Universal Island Records they have created their own Record Company called Super Records. In 2004 they won 5 Smash Hits Awards for Best UK band, Best Album(Room On The Third Floor), Best Video(That Girl), Best Stars Of The Year, and Most Fanciable Male (Danny Jones). In 2005 they won 4 awards at the Smash Hit Awards for Best UK Band, Most Snoggable Male(Danny Jones), Best Single(All About You), and Best Album(Wonderland)and in the same year at the BRIT Awards they won a award for Best Pop Act. In 2006 they won an award on Virgin.net Music Awards for Best Group. In 2007 they won 1 award from Nickelodeon UK Kids Choice Awards for Best Band and they won another in the UK Festival Awards for Best Pop Act, and another from Virgin.net Music Awards for Best Live Act. In 2008 they won an award from Nickelodeon UK Kids Choice Awards for Best Band.
