My name is Endija; I'm an artist from Latvia, Europe and I use stippling technique to create my art. All works are dotted in thousands, even millions of small dots, creating a realistic image. Michelle Obama is my source of inspiration – an authoritarian personality who can handle the first lady's title. I dotted a portrait of her in black&white because Ms. Obama brings colors to it herself – with her kind smile and purposeful gaze.
In the stippled art prints of Michelle Obama, I highlighted the qualities any first lady should have - love for her country, her people, and everything related.
This February, honoring Black History Month, I have created portraits of magnificent women, such as Michelle Obama, and their admirable legacy. They all hold a special place in my heart, and I hope they will find a way to yours as well.
