Episode 11: Black Widow
Me: *Reading Tales of Suspense #52 on a gondola*
Princess Cadance: *Gets on the same gondola* Hello Nick.
Me: Greetings, Princess Cadance.
Princess Cadance: *Sees the comic I am reading* Who is that girl on that comic book cover?
Me: That’s Black Widow.
Princess Cadance: Black Widow?
Me: Black Widow, aka Natasha Romanoff, is an ex-Soviet Union spy who now works for S.H.I.E.L.D., working mostly with Hawkeye and Director Nick Fury.
Princess Cadance: She seems interesting.
Me: She fell in love with a fellow villain named Hawkeye, who wanted to destroy Iron Man, so they both teamed up in Tales of Suspense #57*, however she ends up ditching him.
Princess Cadance: So she was only using him to destroy Iron Man? That’s heartless...
Me: Hawkeye did join the Avengers, and Black Widow decided to atone herself for serving the Soviet Union. However, she was kidnapped and mind-controlled.
Princess Cadance: Did she escape?
Me: Yes, she broke free and joined the Avengers in The Avengers #111*.
Princess Cadance: Well, at least she became a good guy...
Me: *Nods* She joined S.H.I.E.L.D. as a freelance agent, though she never really had any superpowers.
Princess Cadance: But she is a good spy, right?
Me: Yup. She’s also been in many relationships with different heroes, such as Daredevil.
Princess Cadance: Daredevil?
Me: In Daredevil #81*, she and Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, first met, they fell in love and decided to fight crime together.
Princess Cadance: Well, as the princess of love, I’m glad to know that she had found love.
Me: Well, Black Widow broke up with Daredevil, as she had to work more at S.H.I.E.L.D. and that she feared becoming his sidekick.
Princess Cadance: Oh well, sometimes you can’t have it all.
Me: Either way, in modern times Black Widow has gotten her own series, in which she assassinates people and steals data for S.H.I.E.L.D. as a freelance agent, starting in Black Widow #1*.
Princess Cadance: I should start reading this?
Me: *Nods*
Princess Celestia: Well, it looks like my stop is here. Thank you for introducing me to this Black Widow.
Me: Welcome.

Maple looked out at the table and saw an amazing breakfast. "Buttered...was this you?" Maple asked, and she looked where Buttered always was when the family woke up. But he wasn't there. Maple looked where Gummy was, right by her, but she wasn't there either. "Buttered? Gummy?" Maple asked. She looked around and then the kitchen caught on fire. Maple gasped and stumbled back. A sword appeared in her hoof. She stood up to start fighting whoever had caused this. She gulped. She didn't know if she was ready for...this. A firey figure popped out and then everything went black. Or at least, for Maple.
Halloween is getting close. To celebrate for this occasion, I'd like to share two MLP fanfictions to read that are related to Halloween, and scary things in general.
Pinkie's Ghost: link
When Pinkie Pie talks about a ghost story, Rainbow Dash calls her gullible, believing that she is scared. Pinkie Pie soon gets an idea to get back at Rainbow Dash, and it proves to be very successful.
The Nightmare Before Christmas: link
Created by me, and Disneyfan333, this fanfiction crosses over the world of My Little Pony, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's just like the movie, but every character is a pony.
Enjoy these fanfictions, and have a Happy Halloween.
