madara hate the villagers because they selected hashirama as konoha's leader instead of him. it was against madara's wishes.

moreover, madara hate his clan because the uchiha turned their back on him and said that madara only desired for more power. madara only feared that hashirama would oppress the uchiha because hashirama is now the hokage, you know.
