Name: Who did you vote for? GOD!
General Description: Have you ever wondered what God is like? Have you ever asked yourself why things happen to you and have you ever wished that you could simply walk into a room and ask God face to face any question you wish? Well in this RP, it really is that simple. However, it might not be the same as you had pictured it. In the world of this RP, there are no legends. There are no myths about god and god is not some all powerful being that is always just out of reach. In this world, there is a small portion of the population that have slightly altered physical features, giving them a faint non-human look. These beings are rounded up and of the few dozen or so that are living at any given time, one is elected to be that country's god. After being elected, the rest of the altered humans are slaughtered as false gods. However, it is the one who is elected that is in true danger. The near fanatical belief that these countries have makes them believe that with each god will come a drastic change in the world and if the elected god fails to bring about that change...Well they are gods right? What's the worst that could happen?
Plot:
Setting:
In this RP, there are three very large countries connected to each other and while there are other smaller countries as well as other islands and continents, the RP itself is set in these three big ones. These countries are known as Thayos, Latreía, and Charakas. All of which are monarchies and have very unique cultures. However, despite being so close together, these three countries have all taken very differnt paths and have evolved in extremely different ways. As a sort of border marker, there is a very wide river that seems to run all the way between the countries with each end of the river connecting to a different lake. Each country has claimed one of these lakes as their own.
Thayos could best be described as the most technology based. They are the most advanced of the three, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are the superior. They are the only country to have their royalty housed in a skyscraper. Their technology has long since reached the point of plasma weaponry and teleportation devices. However, these advancements have never assured them victory over their neighbors, not for lack of trying though. Thayos has the mindset that the more advanced they become, the closer to perfection they become. The economy of Thayos is a rather simple currency exchange system. The difference to this is that there are two types of currency available. The first is used to purchase necessities such as housing, utilities, and groceries. The other is for recreation, purchasing desirable items, or other items such as that. Basically one is for needs and one is for wants. Every job in Thayos pays both types in varying amounts. Some jobs pay lots for needs and little for wants. Some pay little for needs and lots for wants, and some pay little of both or lots of both. Despite this though, if you wish for luxurious living, then you wish to live in Thayos.
Latreía, despite the elvish sounding name, is basically where you go if you want to rough it. Their economy is mostly an "if you want it, then kill for it" system. This ranges from food to property to spouses and even to rank. Because of this, the people of Latreia are the most physically strong and the most likely to resolve a conflict with violence. However, this does not mean that they are unintelligent. In fact, while they do not have as many scientists as that of Thayos, the ones they do have can match Thayos' researchers and in cases of weaponry, surpass. Latreia's scientists are indeed mostly focused towards the development of weaponry even though they still use swords and axes, with their most notable advancement being a shielding device that protects them from Thayos' plasma weaponry. Lastly, despite being quick to anger, their battle instincts are sharply honed and they know when to seek peace and not war.
Charakas is unique in that it has no real currency system. In Charakas, what an individual can buy and how much an individual can buy is determined based on what they bring to the table. Those of royal blood can have pretty much whatever they want. Beneath them is the soldiers that defend the country. Beneath them are the engineers that maintain what keeps the country running and so on and so forth. Basic necessities such as housing, food, water, and so on are provided to a certain extent. The downside to this is that there is no concept of saving so there is no getting a bigger house or anything unless you move into a better occupation. Despite all of this though, the people of Charakas tend to be the most easygoing and they rarely lose their temper.
Rules!
General Rules:
1: No godmodding.
2: No killing another RPers character without their permission
3: No smut. Romance is fine, but the second I see sex, I am slapping you with a fish!...or recording it.
4: Keep one liners to a minimum.
5: Be respectful to the other RPers.
6: No timeskips without majority approval
7: Make your sentences understandable. grammar mistakes are fine so long as we can undrerstand what you are saying.
8: This is a request, not a rule. If you are leaving the RP, mention it so it doesn't harm the RP by stalling it.
9: Have fun or Riku will post pictures of Kumagawa all over the RP! We don't want that. Trust me.
10: Rules might be added as seen fit.
War Rules:
1: Only the King, Queen, or god of a country can declare a war.
2: There must be a reason if you start a war.
3: Before a war can be started, one must get permission from the other RPers, especially those who control the King, Queen, and god of the country you are attacking.
4: The war must be planned so that those involved know who will win and who will lose, who will die and who will live, etc etc.
5: No cold wars! We don't have that kind of time.
*Note that this is only in case you want to do a war*
Treaty Rules: Basically the same as the war rules.
1: Only the King, Queen, or god of a country can offer a truce.
2: There must be a reason if you offer a truce.
3: Before a treaty can be made, one must get permission from the other RPers, especially those who control the King, Queen, and god of the country you are offering it to.
4: The treaty must be done officially. With ambassadors and everything.
5: If you make an ambassador, he or she better act like one. No crazies unless it's hilarious.
*This is if the war is becoming tedious.*
