I often wonder what other cars they could have used for the Transformers movies, so here are my top picks. For this list, I've chosen cars that are either my favorite, or cars that I think would look cool as a Transformer. This list contains my picks for the Autobots. Another list will be made for Decepticons.

A true lightweight kicks off my list. The KTM X-bow is all about driving experience. No wonder. KTM makes bikes. It would be suitable for Bumblebee, don't you think?

Of course, there had to be a pickup truck. The Ford F-15 has been one of the most popular cars in America for many years and the current generation looks pretty badass enough to be on this list.

A resurrection of a classic European sports car. The 2014 Porsche 911 Targa is elegant and fast, not to mention it's quite fuel efficient. Do Transformers use fuel anyways? :)

Yet another European car is on the list, the 2014 Jaguar F-Type. The sleek and curvy design houses a v8 engine that utilizes 350 HPs. Not the fastest, but definitely one of the most elegant cars on the list.

I often wondered why this classic American sports car haven't actually been in any of the movies. It may not be the newest, but but the Ford GT is one of the fastest, more exotic cars on the list.

Here we go. The Lambo Huracán is so new, it couldn't have been in any of the Transformers movies. But I'm sure it's gonna be featured in the next one. Obvious choice after the Aventador, right?

Here's another classic. The '57 Chevy Bel Air is a relic from the past, but its timeless design ensured the 8th place for it. I'd love to see that car transform into a giant robot.

Concept cars always radical. The movies have featured many concept cars, like the Camaro or the Corvette Stingray, which made it into standardized production later on. The Pininfarina Sergio will definitely remain one of a kind unfortunately. Built by the Italian design studio, to honor its founder, Sergio Pininfarina. The exterior resembles the classic roadsters, not to mention it's fast an sleek.

The Dodge Challenger Hellcat is the most powerful version of the model. With 707 horsepowers and a brutal design, it rightfully claims the 6th place.

Another newcomer continues the list, the 2014 Ford Mustang. Same thing with the Lambo... it's so new, that it couldn't be featured in "Age of Extinction".

And here's yet another concept car. Volkswagen isn't exactly famous for it's fiery designs, but the GTI Roadster concept is definitely hot and unique, thus it earns the 4th place.

It may not be the newest, but the Lexus LFA is the crown jewel of import cars. Typical Japanese design, moderate exterior, brutal force, all terror for the roads!

The 2nd place belongs to a true beast. The Agera R is "unofficially" the fastest car in the world, it's even faster than the Bugatti Veyron. More than 1000 HPs is enough to tear any road apart. That is why it's illegal in America, but does a Transformer really care?

Yes, I know... it's quite ambivalent, to make a Fast and Furious car the first on a Transformers list. But the 1969 Dodge Daytona is one of my personal favorite. It's the epitome of brute force and high speed, plus it would look badass as a Transformer too!
