He was walking alone round the corner to get some fresh air. He stopped and kept standing there for a short while. He could feel the frozen wind get through his body. He shiverd and looked at the water below the bridge he was standing on. It was early in the Winter so the water hasn't got very frozen jet. But the snow was just becoming more and more.
A young girl with hair, dark like the sky above him and a black jacket was walking towards him. He kept looking at the water and didn't care about her. The water copied his calm face on the surface of the water. He could see himself below the bridge. Next to him, another face showed up on the surface. The mirror image was unclear because of the swinging water and the cold wind in front of the eyes. But he could see that it was the girl with the black jacket and the dark hair. Now he knew he wasn't standing there alone. But he didn't move his glance from the surface.
"The water is certainly going to be frozen tomorrow," she said as if she knew him.
He slowly turned his face to see the person next to him.
"Fabia?"
"Hi, Shun!" she said with a warm smile on her face.
"How did you know that I'm here?"
She kept quite for a while and just searched for something in her jacket pocket.
"I've got something for you," she held out her hand in front of him."It's a very little something. But I hope you'll like it."
He looked at her hand.
"For me?" he said and looked at her.
"Mm," she nodded."Who else?"
He held out his hand under hers. She put it in his hand.
"I want you to take a very care of it, Shun. It's only for you."
He studied the glittring stuff in his hand.
It was a diamond framed with something shinig.
"It is the most valuable diamond in Neathia. I want you to keep it. Like a memory of our friendship," she turned around and left...
