Protagonist of the series and a really shy boy at the start. He used to be picked by his upperclasmates, but changes after they take the head band Yuki had given to him.
He used to be really lonely at first, but as the story advances he becomes friends with the club members. Later he meets Yamato Takeshi, who becomes at the same time friend and rival. A common goal of both is completing the ABC of love.
His dream, is going to the Tour of France with his current team and be the champion.
Fukasawa Yusuke

Nickname: Uncrowned King
Specialty: Downhill racing.
Yusuke is the club president and Yuki's older brother. He is kind of a nuisance to his sister, causing her to hurt him a lot during the story.
His best friend and teammate of all the life is Terao, as both have been in cycling racing since early childhood.
He is a really strong racer, being known as the Uncrowned King, since he has not won a single race in his life, due in part because there aren't many people who can keep his peace. Being branded as a genius, in reality, has worked really hard to be the cyclist he is.
His dream is going to the Tour of France and winning it.
Koichi Terao

Terao is the club vicepresident and Yusuke's best friend. They met for firt time after Yusuke crashed with a car and went to have his bicycle repaired. They used to fight a lot, but still he followed him in every team Yuske entered and leaved.
He is known as a precision machine as he researches every detail of the race and its contenders, and is said he is the only that can bring out Yusuke's power.
Takeshi Yamato
Age: 15 years old
Nickname: Kurosuke or Black clothed guy.
Specialty: Uphill racing
Yamato is at the same time Shinosaki's best friend and greatest rival. He used to move a lot due to his father work and because of that, he tries not to relate with other people; but cannot fight in this with Mikoto sice he won't stop talking with him, becoming in the end good friends with him.
One of his goals, apart from the Tour of France, is completing the ABC of love, as Mikoto and him named it.
He is an uphill specialist, hability he learned while living in France during his childhood. His nickname comes from the black clothes he uses while riding a bike.
