After Stan dropped John and Caryn off, Caryn fed her dog, Georgia and took John back home. John was still upset that his special date with Caryn didn't go as planned. He said, "Caryn, I'm so sorry this date wasn't special." She said, "John, it's okay. It's not your fault. Sometimes things just happen, and there's nothing you can do about it. We still managed to have a good time despite you being hurt." He said, "I know. I just wish it could have been more special." She said, "But it was special in its own way. I got to be with you, and the best part is you being okay. I was so worried about you." He said, "I'm sorry I worried you." She said, "Don't be sorry. I'm just glad it's not serious." She then fed his dog, Thunder. She said, "Now you go get some rest. I'll check on you in the morning." He said, "Okay. Good night, Caryn." The next morning, Caryn came by John's house just to see how he was doing. He said, "I'm doing okay. Stan called me and told me that he and the rest of the band talked to Ben, our producer, and they agreed to put the album on hold until the doctor says I can play again." She said, "That's nice that they wait until you're better." John smiled and said, "Yes, it is, Caryn." She said, "How about I take you out for breakfast?" He said, "That would be nice." The two went out for breakfast. She then said, "I love you, John." He said, "I love you, too, Caryn." They then kissed.

After a long time of getting bullied, I began to consider self-harm. I confessed this consideration to Zoe and Gavin. Zoe said, "Please don't hurt yourself. It's not the answer." Gavin said, "Zoe's right. If you hurt yourself, you'll have to deal with all those scars. Why do you want to hurt yourself anyway?" I began to cry. He hugged me and said, "It's all right. You can tell me." I talked about all the bullying I was facing. Zoe said, "Alyssa, those bullies are just losers. You have family and friends who love you." Gavin said, "That's right. You don't have to hurt yourself. Any time something is bothering you, tell us." I said, "Okay." Zoe said, "If you hurt yourself, you won't be the only one who hurts. We'll be hurt, too." I said, "I don't want to hurt you all." We shared a group hug. Over the years, I gained some friends and lost some, too, but I still had Zoe and Gavin. They will be my closest friends until the end of time.
