A Wave Tossed in the Ocean enjoyed the ride with Henry to their destination except for Les. He couldn't keep those negative thoughts out of his head. Felix kept noticing that Les was very distant. This wasn't like Les. He would normally be very excited about the tour. Once they made it to the city of their first show, they decided to get dinner before going to the hotel. They stopped at a pizza parlor. Les was grazing at it. Henry asked, "Are you all right, Les?" Les said, "I'm fine." Henry then said, "You've hardly touched your food. Are you sure you're all right?" Les said, "I'm just tired." Henry said, "With a little rest, you'll feel like yourself again." Les said, "I'm sure of that too." Felix knew Les wasn't simply tired. He was never too tired to turn down pizza. That was his favorite food. At the hotel, Les decided to take a shower before heading to bed. He decided to have a good cry, thinking no one would hear him in the shower. However, someone did hear him. It was Felix. He wondered why Les was crying. It wasn't like Les to cry. Les dried his tears before changing into his pajamas, hoping no one would notice he had been crying. When he came out of the bathroom, Felix was waiting for him. Les said, "Oh, hey, Felix, were you waiting for the shower?" Felix said, "No. I have a serious question for you." Les said, "Ask away." Felix asked, "Are you okay?" Les said, "I'm fine." Felix said, "Don't lie to me, Les!" Les said, "I'd never lie to you, Felix!" Felix said, "You're lying right now! I know you're not okay!" Les said, "But I am." Felix said, "You're not. You haven't been yourself since Henry told us about the tour. Something's wrong." Les said, "I don't want to talk about it." Felix said, "Les, I'm your friend. I can't help you if you don't talk to me. Please tell me what's wrong." Les said, "I'm worried that I'll mess everything up, and everyone will laugh at me." Felix gave Les a pat on the back and said, "I won't laugh at you. I've always laughed with you, not at you." Les said, "You're just saying that." Felix said, "I'm not just saying that." Les said, "I wish that made me feel better." Felix said, "This is beyond my skills. You need to talk to Jimmy." Les asked, "Do you think it would help?" Felix said, "Of course, I do. Jimmy's your best friend. He always knows how to make you feel better." Les said, "Okay. I'll go talk to Jimmy."
After Everett received his discharge papers and his crutches, Una asked him, "Are you hungry?" He said, "Yes, very." She said, "Okay. We'll get something to eat, then I'll take you home." After they ate dinner at a burger joint, they went back to Everett's apartment. Una decided to stay with Everett so that she could help him with whatever he needed. Mrs. Stratton approved of Una's decision. Everett's knee healed in a few days. After that, he and Una decided that they would start planning their wedding. It is a day that they are both looking forward to.

Una, Everett, and Kaitlyn had dinner at a nice restaurant. As they ate, Una asked, "So, Kaitlyn, what are you majoring in?" Kaitlyn replied, "Well, I'm a biology major. I'm hoping to be a veterinarian." Una said, "You're an animal lover. That's great!" Kaitlyn said, "Yes, I've always been an animal lover. How about you?" Una replied, "Well, I always wanted a dog, but my mother is highly allergic. With that being said, I'm so busy with acting, I'm not sure I'd have time for one now." Kaitlyn said, "That's true. Dogs do require a lot of attention. I'm hoping to get one after I finish with veterinary school and get more settled." Everett smiled as he listened to Una and Kaitlyn's conversation. He was happy to see that they were getting along so well. He thought, This is wonderful. I think it'll work if Una and I decide to get married.

"What do you mean?" Una once again prepared to listen. Everett replied, "While my immediate family was supportive of my dream to go into film editing, not everyone was kind. Lots of people told me that I couldn't do it: most of my schoolmates, some teachers, even my extended family." She said, "How awful!" He said, "I know, but I didn't let that keep me down. My father even told me that I should go for it, no matter what anyone says. I looked at different film schools, and I got accepted into one that is fairly close to where I grew up. Upon graduating, I started preparing to go to film school. I started that fall, and I got a job at the local diner to help my parents cover the apartment rent." Una added, "And that's where we met." Everett smiled. "Yes, Una. My life only got brighter from there." She said, "Aw! I say the same to you, Everett." With that, they kissed.
