Everyone in Camp knew about my quest by 4 a.m. I never managed to go back to bed. In the big house, Annabeth, Percy, Rachel, Nico, and I sat in the living room quiet.
“Well. I guess you’re gonna have to choose you goes with you on your quest,” Said Percy, breaking the silence.
“Well I’m gonna bring Nico, because the prophecy said the iris and the helmet would work together. And I’m the iris, and Niko’s the helmet. The iris is the symbol of my mom and the helmet is the sign of Hades. “
“Who else are you gonna take?” asked Rachel.
“I have a feeling I should bring Sapphire. It’s like this warm buzz in my stomach.”
“Ok, but what’s the plan for you?” asked Annabeth.
“I’m gonna go to Portland Oregon. My home is in Oregon and my dream showed an image of my old house. Also my dream showed a sign for the road Dutch LN. I’ve passed that road by my old house.” I said.
“Ok then. Pack up.”
I ran to my cabin. I pulled out a blue backpack. I just threw in some clothes, deodorant, and my PJs. Then the camp store gave me some money, drachmas, some ambrosia and nectar, and a map.
When we were all ready, we met by the front gate to the outside of Camp Half blood. We said our goodbyes to the campers. I pulled out my necklace. “Ok, we’re gonna transport by using this.”
“I’M SO EXCITED!!!!!” yelled Sapphire.
I turned the necklace pendent three times. “Portland, Oregon, United States.”
We jumped into a tornado of rainbow colors. I started to get dizzy, and looked over at Sapphire. She was screaming her head off, while Nico was laughing as we were swept off and flying.
“THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he yelled.
The tornado we were flying in suddenly went away and we landed on our butts in a burst on a grassy hill.
“Ugh….My back hurts! Are we there yet?” Asked Sapphire as she got up.
“Yep” I was looking at the sign. It said Dutch LN. We were there alright.
Nico came up to me.”Woe… that rocked!!”
“Ok. Let’s go find that little girl. “
We started walking, but I heard a low growling sound behind me. We all turned around and there in front of us, was a four headed dragon. The hydra, wanted lunch.
“Dude, I swear Percy killed this bad boy!!” yelled Nico. The Hydra turned and started growling at him.
“Well we better kill it!!!!” Sapphire started screaming and hid behind a bush. So much for bringing her along.
I started running, until, I felt fur and whiskers. I was now a cheetah. I ran in circles, making it dizzy, so Nico could kill it. Nico summoned his skeleton army, but they didn’t help much. He chopped off the hydra’s feet, but it was still alive, and it still had four heads.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw the little girl from my dream. She had her red hair pulled into piggy tails, a pink t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops on. On her ankle I could see the weird birthmark from my dream as well. It looked even freakier in person. The little girl seemed about 4 years old, and I could see the lady from my dream behind the girl. The girl Walked into a fighting stance, and stared ice cold at the dragon. She was so still I thought she had frozen. In a flash, the girl, pumped her fist in the air. The dragon immediately started screaming in terrible pain, and its eyes were filled with fear and pain. A smile formed on the girls face. She moved her hands to the ground, and the hydra immediately disintegrated into the gold dust.
I changed back, and ran to Nico. Sapphire came from her hiding spot. “See that little girl. She saved us. She’s the girl from my dream!!”
“Seriously? She’s like, 4. You said the girl we were gonna save was extremely powerful.”
“She is.”
I ran up to the lady. She was carrying the small girl, who fell asleep.
“I need to talk to you.”
“Um, sure.” We walked to a couple benches and sat.
“So, do you know about demigods? Because, were demigods,” I asked the lady.
“Yes, I am one. I’m Katie Russell, daughter of Hermes. This is my daughter Jesslin.”
“I had a dream about you. You were screaming, and I saw a black ghost, with red eyes.”
“What? Oh no, oh no, OH NO, OH NO, OH NO!!! YOU CAN’T TAKE MY CHILD!! SHES MYNE!! LEAVE ME ALONE!! NOW!!”
“We can’t. You child is very powerful. If she was put in the wrong hands all would be lost. We won’t take her away. I promise.”
“Fine.”
“Now tell us your story.”
“I was young and I went to camp half blood. The end.”
“No. Your real story, all of it.”

“I’m a daughter of Iris, Sapphire is a daughter of Aphrodite, and Nico’s a son of Hades.”
“A big three child…..how is that……”
“It’s possible.”
“Fine. When I was young I went to camp half blood. I dated a boy, named Casey. He was a son of Demeter, and we loved each other a lot. One day he said, he would leave, that camp half blood was a wrong, stupid place. I begged for him to stay, but, he left. When I was 19, I met him again. He asked me to join him and his master that they would take over. I declined, and he changed into a black ghost with red eyes. He never loved me. He was always a monster. I was scared and he wanted to kill me. I screamed no, and he did something sudden. He said if I gave him a child, my life would be spared. I wanted to live, so I accepted his offer. Then I had Jesslin. When she was born, I ran away so he could never find me. He said if I ever gave the baby away, I would die. My worst fear is death.”
“So, I’m thinking, the ghost was Kronos? He had been building up an army at the time,” Said Nico.
“I don’t know.” I didn’t want to bring up that I had seen the ghost at camp.
“But if the black ghost was Kronos…..”
“Then that means….”
“Jesslins a daughter of….”
