And Cutler Beckett really wouldn't have been that big a threat on the high seas if he didn't control The Flying Dutchman. Granted Barbossa was great in the first film as a villian but after coming back from the dead he came off as more of an ally, even though he was serving of his own best intrests. He is a pirate after all. And Norrington, well he was just caught up in a bad circumstances and made very bad choices which he did come to realize. posted over a year ago.
