Your class had been planning this camping trip for months, and you were super exited to go on it. Your boyfriend of a few months, Ponyboy, was also super exited. You two rode on the bus together up to the camp. Your class was staying there for three days, and even though Cherry was always all over Pony, you learned to live with it. When all of you went swimming down by the lake, Cherry was overdoing the whole "flirt with pony to piss you off" thing, and it was beginning to get under your skin. The worst part was Pony was too nice to tell her to go away, and you loved him for it, but sometimes you wished he'd be more assertive. You wanted to wait for the perfect time to say "I love you." But with Cherry around, it was tough. When everyone was swimming and horsing around, you sat on the beach with your best friend, looking sad. Obviously, Pony noticed, because he walks right over and sits beside you. Your friend leaves, and it's just you two. At first no one really knows what to say, so he speaks up. "Carissa?" "Yeah" "I know that you're upset because of Cherry, but I want you to know that I would never like anyone else other than you, and that I would never ever cheat on you. You're amazing, and WAY better than any other girl I've met. You're beautiful." You don't really know what to say, so you're silent for a while, and he takes advantage of it. "I-I-I love you, Carissa." You sorta gasp and smile. "I- I love you too Pony." He just smiles and kisses you. "You're perfect" he whispers. "Never forget it."
You looked around the class for a partner. Everyone seemed to have a partner. You looked down and started to write. You could write about anything. You could feel that someone was standing over you. You looked up to see a girl. "What?" "I was wondering if you wanted to be my partner?" You looked at Ponyboy who was reading. "No I'm fine" you said wishing it was Ponyboy who asked you. You started writing once again. She walked away. You were surprised a Soc. asked you. The bell rang as you walked out of the class. Ponyboy was with his friend Two-bit. Ponyboy's P.O.V I was scared to talk to Y/N. I don't know what to say to her. I wanted to ask her to be my partner, but I would think she would say no. Back to normal. You only had two more periods before school ended. You walked to your class as you took your seat. You fell asleep in that class. You hated that class so you always did. Ponyboy was in that class which sucked cause he always saw you pass out.
