8. Death Comes Running
Renesmee
"Renesmee, you..." Mark started to say.
"Yes," I sobbed.
He put his arms around me. He comforted me unsuccessfully. Then he left me alone to sleep. I wish he'd leave me to die. But soon I slept.
I was walking in my own home, and I saw my family walk next to me. Then they disappeared, leaving one extra person there. I realized it was Jacob, and rushed to hug him, saying, "I'm so glad you're safe."
But then he was right behind me, made of thin air. I heard a baby's restless cry. I ran towards it, far in front of Jacob. It was a small newborn child. But this newborn had fully grown teeth and a small mat of curly dark hair. It had russet skin. The vision of my son looked up at me, expectant.
"Renesmee, you must choose," Jacob's vision said.
"Between me, or him," the child finished.
I looked around me. The baby... Or Jacob? Jacob is dead. The baby was still with me. The baby was also a part of Jacob, I can't let him go. But I can't let my lover go, either. I grew confused. Then I started to run towards my little boy. The baby was in my arms when I heard Jacob's voice.
"Fine. Goodbye, Renesmee."
I turned to see him leaving. I ran, child in arms, to catch him. But I noticed I was running extremely slow, like I was wearing lead shoes. Jacob disappeared. Everything, including my baby, went with him.
Now I was nowhere. And then I saw Mark walk towards me, Jacob going the opposite direction. I ran towards Jacob, but mark thought I was running towards him, he didn't see Jacob pass by him. He grabbed me when I was close, and stared into my eyes, like a hopeless lover. Then he leaned in, as if to kiss me. I automatically closed my eyes. It should be over very soon. Then I felt something break the skin on my throat. I fell to the ground. Everything went dark.
"Renesmee, wake up!" Mark ordered. My eyes flew open. He was hovering over me, with worried eyes. The sense of deja vu was killing me.
"Renesmee, you were crying in your sleep, and near the end, you were screaming," he informed me. He handed me a bowl of cereal. I pushed it away.
"Eat!" he commanded. He forced a spoonfull of Lucky Charms into my mouth. I could taste the sweetness of the marshmallows, the sugary milk. I swallowed it and took the bowl for more. Then I realized I should be throwing up right now. Mark seemed satisfied.
"Mark?" I asked, the empty bowl on the coffee table.
"Yeah?"
"Can you develop the child by magic?"
"Umm... Yes, I think I could."
"And get it out successfully?"
"Yes."
"Can you do it for me?"
Mark looked at me in shock. I wrapped the third comforter around me. It's too cold.
"Renesmee, doing that right now may kill you," he said.
Even better, I said mentally.
"Please, do it."
"No, Renesmee, you'll die!"
"Then that'll be the perfect ending for me, wouldn't it?!!!"
He stared me down. I won the battle. He took me to the dining room. Then he took a bottle from the table and took me into a bedroom. By the looks of it, it looked like my mother's room. She and Daddy told me all about it.
Mark laid me on the bed and opened the comforters wrapped around me. He said something in an unknown language. I felt my energy leave me. I started to think of meeting my Jacob, in Heaven or Hell, where ever he is. I imagined looking into his dark eyes and feeling the emotion in his loving stare. The feel of his lips on mine...
I heard the quick rush of footsteps, and Mark was gone. Death peered down on me with gorgeous red eyes. I was ready to die. And then I saw it wasn't death, but the angel I've been waiting for. The problem was, I wasn't dead.

Chapter One:
First Sight
Kalysta Cullen, the great granddaughter of Edward and Bella Cullen, sped up to the door of her house.
She had the urge to go hunting.
"Silvia, wanna go hunting with me?" She asked her sister.
"Sure,I'll be down in a nano-second!" Silvia replied. Sure enough, in less than a nano-second, Silvia was outside, dressed and ready to go hunting.
"Come, on! Race you there!" Kalysta challenged, ready for a five second run to the forest.
"Beat you there!" Silvia took off, but Kalysta was faster, her speed was inherited from her great grandfather, Edward Cullen. In about three seconds, she was in the mountains, her sense of smell alerted, hungry for mountain lion.
Finally Silvia was hunting with her five seconds later. Senses alert, both girls sensed a full grown mountain lion prowling around nearby.
The hunt was on.
