They both have strong alpha personalities and I think it could work to their benefit. The fact that they both have dominant personalities, strong wills to survive, and core values gives them a better understanding of each other, in my opinion. They have already developed a deep respect for each other, and both have the desire to keep the group safe. This helps them relate to each other as "devoted friends." I think that's great.
But the hardcore stares that they have given one another from the first time they looked at each other, the settle hints of Rick wanting Michonne to stay at the prison, Michonne blushing when they had their private discussion at the prison, Rick's eyes on Michonne's a** when she's not looking, and other things tell me they are both thinking about being more than friends. Also, they look sexy and super bada** together. So my fingers are crossed.
