I woke up 2 hours later, and looked to my side. Rodrick was still asleep, which was weird because he was usually up before me (well at least when i was over.) he must have been extra tired. I lay back down and snuggled into Rodrick's chest and closed my eyes again. 5 minutes later, I felt Rodrick's grip around my waist tighten, and he planted a kiss on my cheek. "Good morning sunshine." he said smiling. I looked back up and rubbed my eyes and yawned. He chuckled. "Sleep well?" i nodded, to tired to speak. "You thirsty? hungry?" he asked, rubbing my back. I nodded. "water." i said groggily, laying back down. He got up and came back with my drink. He turned on the tv. He pulled me closer to him again, and he rubbed my back. I giggled. "im gonna fall back asleep if you keep doing that. But keep doing it, it feels good." That's when i got a text from Danielle.
"bring A BUNCH of nutella (authors note; me and my cousin have this tradition whenever we have a sleepover we would bring JARS of nutella.) CRAP! i said, freaking out. "what????" Rodrick said worried. "i totally forgot today, me, Presilla, Alisson, Danielle and me were gonna have a sleepover at her house, and i forgot! but im sooooo tired!" Rodrick thought. "tell her you didnt get any sleep, she'll understand. "she'll be mad as hell, Rodrick." i said. "We have been planning this for 3 weeks..plus i wanna stay here with you." Rodrick smiled. "Then tell her you wanna just hang with me its your choice. You should be able to do what you want." Rodrick was so smart, but i still had a feeling she'd be busting down my door for this. I texted her back saying;
L: your gonna hate me, but i am super tired and i wanna just hang today..can we do this two days from now or something.?
D: you gotta be kidding me!! we have been planning this for 3 weeks and you cancel? I bet stupid RODRICK had something to do with it.

Lauren looked pissed, i had to see what was up. "what happened??" i asked. "oh danielle just called you stupid." She said. "who cares what she says?" I said. Yeah it bothered me but i didnt want my sweet little Lauren to get into a fight. But then her phone rang. i mouthed, "put it on speaker love." she nodded and put it on speaker. I was about ready to break something when i heard what she said
"What the HELL is your problem you bitch!"
"HEY!!!!!!" i yelled, furious. "NUMBER ONE YOU SHUT THE F#CK UP YOU DONT TALK TO LAUREN LIKE THAT GOD DAMNIT SHES TOO SWEET!" Lauren hugged me. She was crying. I could feel my heart drop and my hands clenched with fury. If you said that to me id be kinda ticked but when you hurt MY PRECIOUS LAUREN..you oughta change your name and move FAR AWAY. "Rodrick, you stay out of this, you retard. "DONT TALK TO HIM LIKE THAT!" Lauren yelled. "Shhh shh baby baby its ok i'll handle it." Lauren went out of the room sobbing. I was so heartbroken! i hate Danielle for making her cry like that! i had to deal with Lauren so i hung up and rushed into the hall. There Lauren was, curled up in the corner, sniffling and crying. I went over and hugged her. she hugged me back, and held me tight. i picked her up and carried her into my room and laid her down on the bed, and held her and rubbed her back, "Shes not a good friend you deserve better your a sweet wonderful amazing bright loving person and shes a backstabbing bitch who doesnt understand how to treat sweethearts like you and doesnt understand love. You and me have eachother, and i love you soooo much and you will ALWAYS have me no matter hwat. you and i will never end. Never." Lauren immediantly stopped crying and grabbed me and kissed. I loved her kisses she had lips of an angel, so full and lucious. She broke the kiss and hugged me tight again "I LOVE you. oh god i love you Rodrick Heffley." she said. I smiled really wide and held her tighter. "Baby...oh god i love you more than you will ever know. You have made me the happiest man on this planet no one can be happier than i am. i am blessed to have you your a gift sent from above a darling little angel." i said stroking her long, buetiful blond and black hair. "i dont need Danielle. i have you." she said. "but i feel bad. she was your best friend, Lauren." she shrugged. "tonight she showed her true self. a jelous little bitch. not someone i wanna be involved with and im done talking about her." Lauren was so tough. "your very strong, Lauren Ashlyn." she smiled. "i wouldnt be if you werent in my life. i wouldnt know what to do." she said. But i could tell she was still hurt so i hugged her again. "I just lost my best friend..." She said sadly. I rubbed her back and kissed her cheek and wiped her tears away. She smiled again "But i have you. I would choose you over her any day." I smiled. "We'll get through this.." I grabbed her hand. "Together." Thats when Greg came in. "Wow you finally loved her to tears." When i looked up there were tears streaming down my face from her sadness. "Go away Greg." and with that he left.
Lauren-
I got two texts later on. One from Presilla, the other from Allsion.
Alisson: OMG are you ok?? Me and Presilla went home because we were defending you and she starting yelling at us and calling us bad named and literaly pushed us out of her house.
Lauren: Wow wtf is her deal???
Alisson: Idk!! shes just mad because you can find love and she can't. =)
Lauren: hahaha yep! and thanks, Aly.
Presilla: Daniella is such a btich.
Lauren: Ya i know! Aly told me.
Presilla: Shes such a drama queen. Hate her. You have us, and Rodrick, god bless him.
I smiled. I looked at Rodrick who was drawing something and looking at me. I went over too see. "I have a lot more." he said putting his arm around me. There was drawings and drawings of me. All perfect. "Rodrick these "are beautiful!" i said beaming. Rodrick smiled. "Just like you." He said and went in for a kiss, but i grabbed him and went in before he could. The kiss was so passionate. I didnt wanna pull away neither did he, because he was making the kiss deeper and deeper. It was a while until i could feel Rodricks heart beat against my chest it was racing i opened my eyes and his face was FLUSHED. He was..sweating! I pulled away and when I did, Rodrick looked like he was about to faint. He was dizzy eyed, and he looked like as if he could have been in a completly different planet, He went in again, but I ducked. He ended up kissing the WALL. I laughed really hard and he smiled. "Hey, no fair!!" He said playfully. "Catch me if ya can!" i said in a sing-song voice, He ran after. "Come here, my little cutie!!" he said running after me. "you gotta catch me!" This dragged on for minutes until i finally crashed down on the bed, he went on top of he and went for my lips, and kissed me deeply. "Ok you got me!" I said giggling. Rodrick looked incredibly happy as he saw me get happy. "your my princess forver." He said, pecking me on the cheek. We both laughed until we heard a voice.
"You two having fun." and that cold tone.. Was Danielle.
