hi guys! This was originally part one of a whole range of chapters staring veevee, but i shortened it to a one shot! :) It was writen way back in december, and i hope you enjoy it! :)

There it was. a thousand memories packed into one acessorie. My umbrella. "Thanks Pyshcs, this is the best b-day present ever." i squeled hugging him tightly. Pink totally matched my skin-tone. It wasn't perfect. Wonky, made with large were-tiger hands, which obviously worked pretty hard on it. I held it up, well- it was practical against the hail. It had been raining for weeks- so why the hell did it feel like the sun was shining over me. "I'm so proud of you pyshimar." Trust me on this one, I do NOT admit to that often. "Promise me you'll use it?" he said in his gruff, typical tone.
"Yeah, of course. Call it vintage and say it's designer and not, um--- hand made, and i would totally wear this." I smiled.

I hate the rain, so this was a practical present.
Not that i did practical.
For the next month, i used it everytime it rained, like some kind of talisman. I had loads of umbrellas. A aquamarine one with a mettalic, navy bow, a salmon-pink design with frills, the list was endless. I had more umbrellas (Among other things) than Daimon had scarfs.
How this one proofed to be my favourite, i will never know.
One day, while i was parading the drenched streets, I saw my friend ember. She was smirking happily, looking smug, at first i thought it had something to do with her crimson, leather coat.
"Love the coat em!" I grinned. "So what are your plans for the weekend?"
And just when i thought she couldn't look anymore smug, she replied "None of your bisness, veevee." her lips super-glued in this little ms.perfect smile.
"Well, i'm going shopping, with Rani and Musera, if you feel like coming."
She shook her head "Sorry, but i have plans."
"Um....Ok then. Bye."
Me and ember were best friends. When we worked together, we were a dynamic cough fashionable cough cough team, much like the tavs.
Although, if i'm to be honest, i felt a bit pushed out, reccently. Sadly, i always get "antagonised" (i think that means something to do with looking bad?) whenever i get the teeniest bit upset about something.
Quite annoyingly, so though, whenever ember got upset over something stupid like earning her charmix, or getting higher than a b + in her flight class, everyone comes rushing to her aid.
Which made no sense, on account that i've been pulling straight Fs....And i reckon i'm nearing G's as well....

On saturday, after "Buying" a few trinkets, i decided to make a suprise trip to pyshimar's room at red fountain. Why not? He was my best friend after-all...
I didn't bother knocking, i burst straight into his dorm...

"Hi guys....." I said, holding back tears.
"Um....." Ember finally drew away from pyshimar, the judas. "We were talking..."
"That a very strange way of talking....So close as well." I observed, not sure who i wanted to strangle more....probably pyshimar. I dumped my umbrella on the floor, and turned to leave.
"Wait! Veevee!" Pyshimar put his hand on my shoulder. "You're about to leave your umbrella. It's a down-pour out there. You don't want to get wet, right?"
"You know what, pyshimar.....I think i'll just walk in the rain."
