Sorry for the wait, here is the next chapter! Enjoy! ^_^

Blake

I had fallen asleep while gazing at her face, and it was the most peaceful sleep I have ever had.
I woke up at the sound of a gasp. The morning sun's rays hit me from the large window, Brianna usually draws back the curtains at the first sight of light . . .
I wrenched my eyes from the morning light and to the girl who I had fallen asleep gazing at.
With a surprised gasp I realized she was awake, sitting up with her silver hair flowing down her back and over her shoulders. She was staring - no, it seemed more like marveling - up at our grand chandelier that Chris bought for Brianna one year.
The sun's gallant rays shone and beamed off of her white, transculent-like skin and made it seem as if she were glowing.
She heard my gasp and met my eyes with hers. Shades of all different colors that had to be hazel beamed into mine. Sapphire blue seemed to shine through her eyes as the dominant color, and they absolutely besotted me.
I finally found my voice enough to say, "You're finally awake." How could I have waited so long without ever meeting those deep, full of life, blue hazel eyes?
"Where am I?" she spoke in a breathtaking voice that came out like the soft play of a violin, it was so sweet-sounding and soft; no other voice could match or personify it.
She's awake! Samantha beamed in my mind, and everyone came downstairs to where I was.
"Hi! My name's Samantha!" My sister bounced up and down and gave the silver-haired girl a friendly hug.
"Hello," the silver-haired girl said, in surprise, no doubt, by my twin's exuberant behavior.
"Hi there," Brianna spoke gently to the girl. "My name is Brianna Leon."
She smiled and nodded.
"I am Chris Leon. Brianna is my wife and these are our adopted brother and sister," Chris explained, gesturing to Samantha and then to me.
The silver-haired girl locked eyes with me once again, and it became hard to form coherent words.
"I'm Blake Leon, it's nice to meet you," I said sincerely, and she just smiled and looked around at everyone.
"It's nice to meet you all, is this your home?" she asked while still gazing around her.
"Yes, it is," Brianna answered with a smile.
"You have a beautiful home," she spoke with pure kindness, gazing at our chandelier once again.
"Thank you," Chris said after a few seconds. "But can you tell us from where you're from? Blake here found you unconscious on the beach and we would like to help you," he said in a very kind voice.
"I . . ." she spoke in a detached voice, her silver eyebrows pulling up together. "Can't . . . remember. . . ."
"You can't remember?" Chris asked, very concerned as he came closer.
"No . . . my head feels all fuzzy," she answered with her eyebrows still furiously pulled together. I wanted to gently smooth them out. . . .
What was that? Samantha asked me, her eyes wide as she stared at me.
Drat, I forgot that sometimes if we focus hard enough we can actually almost hear each other's inner thoughts.
Nothing, Sam, get out of my head. I said, annoyed by her constant presence.
NEVER!
"Concentrate, be calm and try to remember . . ." Chris whispered and she smoothed out her angelic face and closed her eyes.
We waited silently.
"I know my name," she spoke after a long minute.
"What is it?" Chris asked her and she opened her eyes.
"Angel . . . Angel Malekiah."
"And do you remember anything else Angel?"
She slowly shook her head. "No, I don't. I'm sorry!" she apologized hastily, and we were taken aback by it.
"Don't apologize sweetie," Brianna said, sitting beside her and laying a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Yes, you most likely hit your head and it caused you to have amnesia," Chris muttered and Angel looked at him speculatively.
"Amnesia?" Her bright sing-song voice asked.
"You've forgotten everything because of it, you may be able to remember later though . . ."
Her face fell. "Oh," she whispered.
Samantha saw along with everyone else. "Hey, cheer up Angel! You can stay with us until your memory returns," she said, and I could see that Chris and Brianna agreed with her.
"You'll really let me stay?" she questioned.
"Of course!" Both Sammy and Bre said at the same time and we all laughed.
And that's how the still mysterious, beautiful, silver-haired girl named Angel came to be a part of our small family.
