In Cainan, Georgia, Samuel approaches Tracy. He introduces himself and asks her what her plan is for saving a boy with abilities, Jeremy, who's in jail for having killed his parents. Suddenly, Samuel has worked his powers, and they're at the carnival. Tracy looks around, wondering where they are.

Samuel shows Tracy around the carnival, and tells her that this is the place for Jeremy to be, a place where he could feel like home. He says that Tracy could join them as well. At the carnival, Samuel steps out of his trailer, wondering where everyone is. Lydia tells him that the carnival is closed, and that the family no longer trusts or respects Samuel, after what he did.
