Alice’s pov
I felt so guilty towards Bella and Carlisle. I should have listened to him but instead I wanted to know what happened to me, how I became a vampire.
My thoughts were interrupted when Bella started walking next to me and tried to get my attention without the boys hearing so I looked up towards her.
“You don’t need to be guilty Alice. This was more my fault then yours, forget about it” she said to me but I couldn’t shake that guilt feeling away.
“Alice” she hardly whispered
“Why are you whispering” I whispered back not even knowing why I whispered.
“I need to give you back your memories before I go hunting otherwise your memories will melt in mine and then I’ll be the one having a hard time keeping those separate” she still whispered
“But Bella it’s to dangerous what if you collapse again” she whispered upset.
“I won’t and beside, there animals here and I can feed right away then” she whispered again.
We both jumped when we heard Edward’s voice
“Hey you two, keep up. Were almost there” he said while walked back towards Emmett
“Okay” I said and we stopped moving. We had no time to waist before Edward and Emmett noticed we weren’t following anymore.
I gave her my hands and she hold them tight in hers and closed her eyes again.
“ALICE” I heard Edward’s voice angry. Both Emmett and Edward ran towards us but now I was the one feeling weak and I saw images, images I didn’t saw before. I fell on my knees and so did Bella but she still didn’t let go of me.
I felt arms around me and I opened my eyes and saw Edward holding Bella against his chest while Emmett was keeping me straight.
“Alice that was a stupid thing to do” Edward said angry to me but then changed his mind. “Maybe it was the only way”
He must have seen it in my head what really happened so he couldn’t be mad at me because Bella needed to do it.
Emmett helped me on my feet while Bella was still laying against Edward’s chest, he got up with her in his hands.
Then my mind wondered off and I was seeing a vision, a vision of Bella waking up and that she was hunting and that Edward bumped into her, making an awkward situation between them. There was definitely something growing between them. I shook that vision off when I heard Edward’s voice
“Come we should go further into the mountains to hunt” he said but I could here he was worried for her.
“She will wake up soon” I said because I just saw it just a few seconds ago and I sort of blocked it out of my mind so Edward couldn’t see what will happen between them. I think I should let faith handle this one. Emmett and me ran beside Edward while he was still holding Bella.
Edward's pov
After a run of only 5 minutes we stopped and took place on some rocks. Bella was slowly waking up again.
“What happened” she said confused
“Well you and Alice where sharing memories” I said a little angry
“Oh but I had to… I…” she said upset
“Don’t be upset, I understand” I said back caring “You should hunt now”
She nodded and got back on her feet and she smelled into the air.
“Can you smell them” I asked her
“Hmm, yes” she answered back and then looked at me
“So what are you waiting for” I said laughing and she smiled and disappeared so fast that I hardly see her move.
I walked towards Alice and Emmett they were sitting on a rock, I could here them taking about something but they both kept quiet when I came closer to them and I couldn’t read Alice her mind because she blocked me out but Emmett couldn’t block me so I heard they were betting that I couldn’t catch Bella because she was allot faster.
“Hey stop doing that” I said irritated.
“Why little brother, afraid that you will loose” Emmett said laughing
“I think Edward will catch her eventually” Alice said laughing
“Stop it you two” I said still irritated.
“What’s going on” I heard Bella from behind me and all three of us jumped.
“Done hunting already” Alice said surprised
“Euhm yes, I can run fast you know” she answered laughing
“Oh right” Alice said back
“Hey Bella, Alice and I were taking a bet and …” Emmett started saying
“Emmett No” I interrupted him so fast
“Let him finish, please, I wanna know what the bet is all about” Bella asked me friendly
“Fine” I said and gave both Emmett and Alice an angry look.
“Well Alice think that Edward can catch you when you are that fast and I think otherwise and we sort of bet about it” Emmett said joyful
“Oh then why don’t we test that theory” Bella said also with a joyful voice
“No not a chance” I said back
“Oh common” she begged me
“Yeah brother, afraid to loose” Emmett said laughing
“You’ll be fine Edward” Alice said to me and when Alice said something like that then I most win.
“Fine” I said back
“Okay Bella start to run” Alice said laughing
Before I knew it Bella was gone and I hardly see her move, she was so fast. I was so not sure if Alice will be right about this one. I can’t even see her so I tried to listen instead. I could hear her footsteps and they were coming closer to me and I just jumped. I had nothing for at least 2 times so I tried to focus more instead of hearing Emmett laugh. Suddenly I just jumped and I know I felt her this time and I caught her. She was laying under me and I was on top of her and we were both starring into each others eyes, surprised. But I kind of didn’t care that I caught her I was trying to figure out what I was feeling for her. The feelings I had, well it was something I never felt before so I think I’m falling in love with her.
“Hey Edward, would you mind getting off of her” I heard Emmett’s voice and Alice giggling.
“right” I said and I got up and helped Bella to get up too
“I’m surprised that you caught me” she said smiling to me
“Well to be honest, so am I” I said back smiling
“We should go back home, nobody needs to hunt anymore” Alice asked us but nobody needed to hunt anymore so we all ran back home. Bella didn’t move faster now, instead she stayed close to Alice.
