Disclaimer: I do not own Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog, just my rekindled passion for ShadAmy.
This is a small project I'm doing since I had the ideas swirling in my head, among many other ShadAmy stories I hope to be posting. Random things out of my head that I really need to empty out that I also hope you'll enjoy.
The moments will consist of conversations and events from big to small. So~ expect some terribly long or terribly short chapters.

Hnn~...
I don't remember who started it, but between the two of us, we didn't want it to end. The release from it opened up a new insight of things to me, and to him too. It's not until we started it did I know what Maroon 5 was talking about when Adam Levine's lyrics sang, "It's not always rain~bows and butterflies, it's compromise; it moves~ us along~"
...The 'him' I'm talking about would never admit to something like that, though. Not out loud.
Sometimes, he gets stuck on the fence when he tries to jump like Bambi's first leap across the log; he wants to go and he wants to stay. He wants to get away, but he doesn't want me to leave. He secretly wants me to shut up, but he always wants me to listen. His shoulder angel and devil are obviously in a fight.
Secretly, I think they both are fond of me. You~ betcha.
The way he talked and walked with me the first time said he wanted to stop the conversation where the small talk began.
During that, I think his shoulder-angel is what made him stick around, because it's true - he has some sense of manners for girls, and is the only guy I know who doesn't see me as careless or a waste of time.
Shadow's just distant. Rouge and Omega may be his closet friends, but if you notice, they're never in his company unless it's mission-business, and I think that's how he prefers it. He doesn't like people clinging to him.
...Doesn't mean he wouldn't want it, though.
I had spied~ something black and red between the falling snowflakes and crowds of pedestrians the day before Christmas - the first day all this started. Heh, the two colors embodied to make one familiar hedgehog were standing in front of a display window on the sidewalk.
'Wonder what was in that store he was looking so hard at...
Didn't matter; He was in front of it! That was the bigger picture, yeah? And the nostalgia of that picture was, I didn't ever get to see him. I didn't even remember what he sounded like when he talked. But I did, and do remind myself of the things he said to me on the Ark. The things I've ached to ask him about since Rouge wouldn't let me visit him when she said he was staying at her club that one time.
My eyes must've looked like two huge, beaming spectrometers that were so bright the citizens in the crowd of giants would've had to shade their faces when I saw him that day.
I jogged up to him and chimed my singsong greeting like I would to any old friend, "Sha~dow!"
He side-glanced at me at the twitch of an ear.
"...Hi," I tied my fingers behind my back and smiled big for him, showing all my teeth.
He looked at my smile and then gazed me right in the eye, I on the other hand waiting for him to open up, willing him to say what Sonic won't, hoping he remembered I'm one of the few people he's nice to, even if it's only been twice.
And he said it, in a monotone, formal politeness, "...Good evening."
I searched him; eyes running back and forth between his without blinking, and exhaled a giggle.
I knew right then and there, that he could only tolerate so much small-talk.
But no one ever told us what this little coincidence had in store for us.
...Isn't that right, Shadow?
Hee-hee.
...And I think when you see all those things that coincidence had planned for us, you'll call me a masochist for giggling.

Amy sat there with her bags near her feet hoping for the rain to stop. She sat there on a rock soaked. All of the sudden it stopped when she looked up to her suprised it was Shadow holding a coat over her.
"Hi shadow whats wrong?" she said looking at dark shady figure. "Oh nothing my dad died." he told her tearing up holding his tears back. "Oh I am so sorry." she said standing up to hug him.
Then He backs up not sure what she was going to do. She cries and runs off. He puts his hand out trying to grabs her but in stead he just fell on the ground.
"Amy! Amy! A-Amy! were r u?" He yells hoping to find her. Out of no where he hears a cry.
