Flight 29 Down Chapter 18
Cassidy's POV
I open my eyes and I wasn't sitting under the tree. How did I get back to camp? How come I was so cold?
Jackson? I asked weakly.
There was no answer. Am I dead? If I'm dead am I a ghost? That would be so cool! I could scare the crap out of Eric. Jackson, what would he do? Would he be happy that he wouldn't have to look after me or would he be sad?
Jackson walked into the tent.
Cassidy your awake! Jackson exclaimed.
Am I dead? I asked.
No, your really sick. Jackson said smiling.
Are you about to cry? I asked.
Yeah a little bit. Jackson said.
Why? I asked confused.
You haven't been awake in 2 days. Jackson said.
Oh. What about food? I need to get to work! I said as I tried to get up.
No, you are very sick. You cannot go pick fruit. Your too weak and you need rest. Jackson said.
I've been asleep for 2 days. I think that is long enough. I said.
You're awake! Melissa said as she came into the tent.
Yep. I'm ready for work. I said.
No you are still sick. Melissa said.
That's what I told her. Jackson said.
Look I am going to go get you some medicine to help with this fever. Jackson said.
How is everything going? I asked Melissa.
It's going okay. Jackson and Stephan have been taking turns doing your chore. Melissa said.
Oh okay. Have there been singhs of the others or rescue? I asked.
No not yet. Melissa said disapointed.
Here you go. Jackson said.
Jackson handed me two pills and some water.
What is this? I asked.
The medicine to help your fever. Jackson said.
I tried to sit up but I had to get Jackson to help me.
Thanks. I mumbled.
I took the pills and drunk some water.
Keep hydrated. Melissa said.
I'll try. I said.
We should leave. Cassidy needs her rest. Jackson said.
Okay sleep tight. Melissa said.
I'll try but it's cold. I said.
If you tuck the blankets under you it will make you warmer. Jackson said.
Thanks. I said.

I woke up freezing. Whatever Jackson gave me for this fever was not helping at all.
Look who's awake. Stephan said as he came into the tent.
Yeah sadly. I said.
Do you need anything? Stephan asked.
Not to be sick! I just want to get back to work. I said.
Yeah I don't like seeing you like this. Stephan said.
Like what? I'm just have a fever. I would be working right now of Jackson and Melissa didn't make me stay in here. I said.
Your sick and weak. There right you shouldn't be working. Stephan said.
Don't call me weak! I demanded.
You should eat. It would make you stronger. Stephan said.
I'm not weak but I'm hungry. I said.
I'll go get it. Stephan said.
No way! I'm getting up and getting it. I hate this tent. I said.
Okay. Can I atlest help you? Stephan asked.
No thanks. I'll manage. I said.
Okay. Stephan said doubtfully.
I got up and walked slowly to the camp fire. I sat down in a chair that was by the food. I picked an apple up and bite into it. It was nice and juicy.
Here drink some milk. Stephan said.
No thanks. I don't feel like it. This apple is starting to fill me up. I said.
You had a couple of bites. Stephan agured.
Which is like half the apple. I said sarcasticly.
That's not enough for you. You need more calories to fight this sickness off with. Your weak. Stephan said.
I'm not weak! I said as I got up.
I walked hastely to the tent. I hated people seeing that I was weak even if it was a little bit. I wasn't going to show my weakness! I was
going to sleep as much as possible so I could get better. Then when I got well I would do push up and sit up and anything else that will make me stronger.

I opened my eyes. It was blazing hot in this tent. Had Eroc out the tent in the sun as some joke? Wait no, that was my fever! My fever was
going away! I stood up and walked outside the tent. I stretched my arms above my head.
Are you feelin better? Melissa asked.
Yes! My fever is going away! I said as I hugged her.
That's good. Here take some more so it will stay away. Melissa said.
Okay. I said as I followed her to the medicine bag.
I sat down in one of the seat and let the sun warm my face.
Here you go. Melissa said.
I quickly took the medicine.
Can I go for a swim? I asked.
I guess just don't tire yourself too much. Melissa said.
Okay. I gonna go down the beach a little ways. Away from everyone and just enjoy being by myself. I said.
Okay have fun. Melissa said.
I went and grabbed my pack out of the tent. I walked away from the camp. I walked until it was a good ways away from me. All I had was my under wear to swim in so that was one reason why I had gone a little ways down. I laid a towel and than took my clothes off.
I hope that Eric the per wasn't watching me from the tree. I thought to myself.
I walked to the edge of the water. I let the water come over my feet. I started walking in the water. It got deep enough where I could go under and rinse my hair. I held my breath and went under. I opened my eyes and saw tons of fish. If I only had a spear gun! Wait, I didn't even eat fish. It would still be fun to shoot them. I went up to the surface and sucked in air. I got out of the ocean and laid on my towel. I dug through my bad until I found my cd player. I played some music and closed my eyes. I let the sun warm my body. I drifted to sleep a little bit.
I saw a shaddow and open my eyes. It was Jackson. He was standing over me.
You look like a giant from here. I said laughing.
What are you doing? Jackson asked.
I'm drying my underwear. I said smiling.
But your sick you should be in the tent sleeping. Jackson said.
Did Melissa not tell you? My fever is going away. I asked if I could go for a swim and she said yes. I said.
Oh okay. Where is your bathing suit? Jackson asked.
I don't have one and this is a bath towel. I said.
Oh you could borrow some of my swim short. Jackson said.
I would only wear those is I had a skimboard with me. I said.
Oh yeah that would be fun to have one. Jackson said.
Let's go for a swim. I said.
I stood up and ran towards the water. I swam out to where I could barley touch. I hated when I could touch and the fish would bite my toes. It didn't scare, it was annoying.
Is that Eric stealing your stuff? Jackson asked as he walked over to me.
Yep. He'll pay for it later. I said smiling mischeively.
Don't get into another fight! Jackson said as he held me up by one arm.
I'm not promising anything. He had to learn a lesson. I said.
I know but your a girl. Jackson said.
Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't defend myself. I'm not a Taylor! I said.
But girls aren't suppose to fight. Jackson said.
I don't care! I'm going to fight if I need to! Who cares about all those girl rules. No belching, you can't slouch, you much be propped,
ect ect! I hate all these stupid rules for girls. There so stupid. I said.
What are you going to do about walking to the camp in your underwear? Jackson asked.
I just wear what I have on. I said.
But it's to revealing. Jackson said.
It's either that or my birthday suit. You choose? I said smiling.
Okay fine. What about my t-shirt? Jackson asked.
Well if Eric is smart he would have taken your shirt. I said.
Right. Jackson said.
Can I atleast just hit him once? I asked.
No! Just walk away from him. Jackson said.
Oh my gosh he has my video tape! I said.
I looked at Jackson and than swan fast as possible towards shore. I got on land and darted for the forest. I ran through there listening
to anything to find him. I saw him.
Eric! I screamed.
Woha you look hotter than I thought you did. Eric said.
That's gonna be lunch number 3. I thought to myself.
He laid the video camera down and prepared to fight.
