The sun was coming up. It was getting time to leave. I was nervous, I wasn't sure if this is what I needed to do.
We will walk as far as possible on the beach but we will have to go into the forest sometime for food and water. Abby said.
Be careful. Lex said.
Always. I said.
Melissa and Taylor were on the verge of crying.
It will be okay. I told them.
See you soon but if we don't see you later. Jackson said.
Melissa shed a tear and than compossed herself or well tried.
We walked along the beach for a long time. It was boring.
Can we take a break? Eric asked.
We have only been walking for a couple of hours. Abby said.
Exstactly. Eric said.
I'm out of water. I said.
Here have some of mine. Abby said.
Thanks Ab. I said.
Don't call me that. She said.
Okay whatever. I said.
Not whatever. It's Abby not Ab. She said.
Cat fight! Eric said.
We both looked over at him, he was insane.
Shut up, I'm postive that Abby can take you. I said.
Why do you think that? Eric asked.
She looks just as tuff as me. I said.
I'm scared. Eric joked.
ENOUGH! Jackson yelled.
We are in this together. We have only been walking for a couple of hour, we should not be fighting! Jackson said.
Jackson is right. I said backing him.
Fine. Eric said.
Let's go get some food and find water. Eric you find fire woods and make a fire. Cassidy find food. Jackson come with me and we wil find water and some extra food. Abby said.
Woha! Who said you was in charge? Eric asked.
If you want to survive you will go by my rules. Abby threaten.
Woha harsh. I said.
It's the truth, he can't slack like he did back at the camp. Abby said.
That's true. I said.
Let's go. Jackson said.
Stop picking fights. Jackson whsipered.
We walked into the forest together.
I need a minute with Cass, alone. Jackson said.
Okay. I will just get out of your way. I said.
I was talking to Abby not you. Jackson said.
He turned his back and I started tip toeing away from him.
Not so fast. Jackson said.
He grabbed my shirt and pulled me back.
What did I do? I asked.
Nothing, I just wanted to do this all morning. Jackson said.
He looked at my expression and then kissed me. He let up and smiled at him.
Jackson hurry up! Abby yelled.
Coming! Jackson yelled.
He gave me a quick kiss.
Becareful and don't get lost. Jackson said.
Never. I said.
I kissed him and than he said he had to go.
I looked for the nearest coconut tree and started picking cocnuts. There wasn't as many as the camp had.
I had finially picked more than I could carry so I started kicking them back to were we had sat our stuff down. This could actually be fun.
Everyone got back, Jackson and Abby found some food, nothing that I liked. Eric had actually got a fire going and I found a lot of coconuts.
Did you find water? I asked.
No but you found coconuts, it will have to do. Abby said.
Ugh, I hated coconut milk, it was gross but everyone else liked it so I always picked it.
Come on, you have to drink something. Jackson said.
No that, I will wait till I find some water. I said.
You can't do that, you will get sick like I did. Jackson said.
Ugh, I hate coconut milk. I said.
Then why did you get so many? Abby asked.
Because I'm use to getting that many for everyone. I said.
It's still daylight, let's get back to walking. Abby sugested.
But we just stopped. Eric complained.
Yeah we did but get over it. I said.
We all got up and looked at the forest.
This could possible be the last time we step foot on the beach. I said.
Let's do this. Jackson said.
With that we walked into the forest to find Abby's friends.
