Ember is 14 and is also Blaze's sister. One day Ember was just gone and this is why...

Ember age 7:
Today is the first day Blaze and i are full gaurdians. Blaze has always been the better fighter even though she is only a few months older.
Blaze- Hurry up Ember! We r going to be late!
Ember- Im coming im coming *quickly finishes and i run out the door nearly running into Blaze*
Blaze- *jumps out of the way* whoa not that fast *laughs*
Ember- *smiles* come on lets go!
Blaze- ya! *runs with Ember to the secret place where the Sol Emeralds r hidden*

When we got there the Sol Emeralds were an amazing site. All 7 of them were glowing in a circle in the middle of nowhere.
Blaze- *sits down on a rock* so what do u want to do?
Ember- *shrugs* not sure....we can write *fire lights on fingertips*
Blaze- *smiles* ya *points hand up and writes with fire* hi
Ember- *writes back* whats up
The 2 continue like this for the rest of the day and nothing happens. Soon a few weeks have gone by.

Ember- *lays down on the ground* this is boring
Blaze- *lays down next to her* ya ur right
Ember- *starts to daydream about a life without guarding the emeralds*

That night:
I wake up as soon as the clock strikes 12. Crawling out of bed i change and pack some clothes, food, ect. As soon as im ready i sneak out and run south.

The next morning:
Blaze-*knocks on Embers door* come on Ember u plan on sleeping all day! *doesnt hear anything and opens the door to find an empty bed* EMBER!! *runs to parents* embers gone!
