Sonic leapt up and slammed into another cloaked figure. It, as expected, grabbed him and threw him a foot away, where he slammed into the floor. The figures had his friends surrounded and they couldn’t even dent them. “SONIC!” He whirled around, ears perked up, and ran in the direction of the voice. Amy was laying on the ground, one of the figures clutching a wooden club. It was hitting her fast and hard, not caring if she begged for mercy. “GET OFF OF HER!” Enraged, Sonic spindashed into a row of them, including the one that hit Amy. “Are you okay, Ames?” He asked, dropping down to where she now lay on the ground. “Don’t worry about me. Run!” She pointed to an opening in the line of hooded people. “Go there.” Sonic kissed her on the cheek, sadness gripping his heart like a stone hand as he ran for the opening. One of them administered a clout to his head, making him fall over. He stood up again, rubbing his aching head. A blur of color flashed before his eyes, then stopped. “Master. I have another. What should I do with him?” A robot-like voice declared. Sonic rubbed his eyes and looked at the hedgehog that was in front of him. He couldn’t believe what he saw. A green hedgehog, clad in red sunglasses and a leather jacket with flames on the arms, stood stiffly where he saw looking. Scourge. A gray collar with a red light on the front was around his neck, and he flinched whenever he tried to move on his own. “Run, blue.” He mouthed. One of the figures grabbed him and held his arms behind his back while another clout was administered to Sonic before he could do a thing. “Bad little thing.” A certain figure declaring, removing its hood. Sonics’ mouth was now open so wide you could drive a car through it. A black-haired human girl, her crimson eyes glimmering with recognition, grabbed a leash from her satchel, put it around his neck, and yanked on it. “Get up. Now.” The figures let Scourge fall to the floor, where he stood up, whimpering and on all fours. “Good boy. Just don’t try to run from me again.” Scourge nodded, rubbing against her leg and purring like a cat while a dumbfounded Sonic was dragged with them.
