Marvel Legacy: X-Men panel for New York Comic Con, editor-in-chief Axel Alonso all but confirmed discussions of a
ongoing series — should schedules work out, apparently.

#1. Alonso responded, “Yeah…Depends on our schedules, let’s put it that way…we have specific interest.”

This of course doesn’t mean a Storm series is set in stone, but it
confirm that Marvel has been thinking long and hard about giving the X-Woman her own title again. A longtime cast member — and sometimes leader — of the X-Books, Storm has starred in three different comic series. The first of which, launched in 1996 with Warren Ellis and Terry Dodson at the helm. The second, which ran for six issues in 2006, was from Eric Jerome Dickey and David Yardin. Most recently, Greg Pak and Victor Ibáñez wrote the character in her own series that ran for 11 issues from 2014-2015.
