So I tried to keep my mouth shut because I feel bad for all the negative feelings I have towards Sam almost all the time but I just can't keep it in anymore.
Why the hell didn't he call Cas and tell him to stop trying to break the curse once he found out what would happen?! I mean what the hell?! He was just going to let Dean kill him knowing Cas was in the process of curing him? Not even just from the perspective that he was letting the Darkness be released but the very fact that he was going to make Dean live with killing him for no reason?!! Seriously WTF Sam.

I really think it's a combination of all three, I mean I get why each of them did what they did, but. There were obviously going to be consequences, and here they are.

^Yes all of their actions led to this consequence but at the very end Sam could have stopped it. He's the only one who could have. All it would've taken was one phone call. But he deliberately chose not to make that call. You can't tell me he didn't think of it. Unlike Cas, at that point he knew what the consequences would be. Dean didn't know that they were in the process of removing the curse. Sam's the only one who had all the pieces of the puzzle. And his solution? Let Dean kill him and let the Darkness be released onto the world.
