Gwen's P.O.V
I looked at Cody. "Hey Codemeister, will you do me a favor?" I fake flirted with him knowing that he had a crush on me. Cody's eyes bulged. "Anything for you gorgeous." he responded. "Alright, don't call me that. Anyway, since Sierra has a crush on you and all, maybe you would talk her into leading you to the Salamander safe." I persuaded him. Cody smiled. "Ok, but YOU have to go on a date with me." he informed me. I made a gagging face under the quiet.
"Ok, first of all, I have a boyfriend."
"Yeah, but is your boyfriend as hot as the Codemeister?"
Cody gestured to his own body and pulled up his shirt sleeve to show me his 'muscles'.
"He is 50 times hotter than you are Cody."
"I'm not hearing a no."
Heather butted into our conversation.
"Hello?! Cody, stop hitting on Gwen and just go!"
She pushed him to Sierra. Heather winked at me. I winked back and mouthed the word, "Thanks." While Cody was making his so call 'magic' according to Sierra, I couldn't stop thinking about Duncan. I started to cry. Heather noticed me. I got red. "I think you should rest Gwen." ,she said as she placed her hand on my forehead, "you're burning up." Heather, being kind?! Well, we are in an alliance. I walked back to my cabin.
--------------------At my cabin-------------------
I opened my dresser drawer. Wait? Where is it? I pulled apart my dresser. Where the hell is my locket? I ran out the door and searched the woods where I last had it. My eyes were paced to the ground. I ran into a figure. "Ow." I complained. From my view, all I could see was my locket spinning around on someone's finger. Wait, it just wasn't my locket, it was the whole heart, the two halves of the locket put in one. I gasped then looked up. Of course, it was my boyfriend. "Duncan!" I yelled while I jumped into his arms. "Well, it's nice to see you to babe." he joked. Duncan pulled me into a kiss. "What are you doing here?" I asked him as soon as we unlocked our lips. "Chris said that ratings have gone down ever since I left. So, he brought me back. I always knew I was a fan favorite." he bragged. I smiled at him. "I'm just glad you're back." I exclaimed. We hugged and pulled away after 6 seconds. "We have to go tell the others." I commanded. Duncan held my hand. "Is it o.k if I just spend my day with you? We have lots of catching up to do." he asked. I nodded my head in agreement. We walked hand in hand together to the camp recreation center. "Duncan, we're not supposed to be in here." I reminded him. "And...?" his voice trailed off. "Now c'mon." he said as he pulled me in the room. He pointed to a ski ball machine.
"I bet you can't beat me in ski ball sweetheart."
"Is that a challenge?"
"Ready when you are."
I walked over there and scored a 50 on my first try. Duncan smirked at me. "Not bad, for a rookie." he joked. He grabbed a ball and scored a 100. "Oh, so you think you're all tough now?" I joked back. I took another ball and scored a 100 too. (By the way, this ski ball game goes from 10-100 points.) We kept on playing until it was a tie, 3,000-3,000. We each had one more ball left. "Ladies first?" I asked him. "Ladies first my ass." he laughed. Duncan took a ball and got 50 points. "Ooo, who's the rookie now?" I taunted him. It was my turn. "100!" I cheered. "Rematch!" Duncan demanded. "In your dreams. I won fair and square." I taunted him some more. "Rematch!" he demanded again. "Ok, you want a rematch, you have to catch me first. I ran around the humungous rec. room. Duncan chased after me. I was out of breath. I stopped to take a breather when Duncan yelled, "Got'cha!" He was out of breath too. "Man, you run fast." I smiled. "That's what 2 miserable years of forced track lessons payed off." I stated. After about 1 minute, Duncan caught a normal breathing speed. "Wanna make out?" Duncan suggested. I playfully punched his arm. "Perv." I laughed. It was getting dark and I was guessing that the challenge would be done soon. "It's getting sort of late Duncan." I explained. "Aww, but I didn't get to kick your ass in racing yet." he complained. He gave me his puppy dog face. I caved in, "Alright, just one game." Duncan and I rushed back to the recreation center. We sat in the big arcade racing chairs. "I feel like a kid." I stated. "Yeah, but don't you ever wish you could go back." he started. Duncan sighed. "Are you ok?" I asked him. "Y-Yeah. I'm fine." he mumbled. If I didn't know better, I would've thought that he was crying. I kissed him on the cheek. "The game?" I tried to change the subject. Duncan snapped out of it and pressed start on his chair. "Ready sunshine?" he questioned me. "You're on." I challenged Duncan. I was ruling this game. Duncan was in shock. I especially loved the alien level. "And I thought girls were supposed to suck at video games." he joked. I chuckled. "Well, I've learned the hard way." I bragged. At the end of the game, I won. "Yes! How does it feel to be beaten by a girl at your own game, 2 times in a row?!" I quizzed Duncan. He had a smirk on his face. "Man, you. are. good." he complimented me. I held my head up high in victory. Duncan grabbed my cheek and we started making out. My watch beeped. "Duncan, it's past 10 pm. Everyone is definitely done with the challenge and in bed. Let's go." I instructed him. We got to the woods where the cabin directions split. "It was nice to see you again babe." he confessed. "You too." I responded. We said our last goodbyes.
--------------------At the cabin------------------
I walked in the girls' cabin to see almost every girl shooting daggers at me. "Where were you? I thought you weren't feeling well." Lindsay complained. "Oh I was-" I paused. "Hey, when I'm sick, I like to explore and walk around a bit. She was probably just taking a stroll around the forest." Heather butted in. "Oh, yeah." I agreed. The girls let me off the hook.
-------------------That Night---------------------
"Listen Gwen, I'm not always going to be there to save your butt. I know you were with Duncan. I need you to play your part of this alliance or it will fall. So, I kinda guess you can consider me as a friend, for now. Just try not to get yourself in too much trouble." Heather explained.
