I looked out the window at the passing scenery, thinking. I tuned out everyone's conversation, leaving it a quiet buzzing in the background.
You might ask where monday put me and Edward. even I'm not sure. The rest of monday was spent avoiding each other, I would blush everytime I passed him, damn blush. Tuesday wasn't so awkward, but wednesday was the best. I almost tripped down the stairs but he saved me. He even yelled at Mike for bugging me. On thursday we made a 'truce' sorta, we would be friends. No avoiding, no more blushing.
"Bella! Bellla!" I snapped out of it to see everyone staring and Alice waving a hand infront of my face.
"I'm sorry, I kinda spaced out there. Can you repeat what you just said?"
"The driver dude wants to know what you want." Emmett explained.
I looked out the darkly tinted windows to see McDonalds, of course.
I ordered a double cheeseburger and a medium drink.
When Fredrick pulled up to the windoww Ashes darted through the little window seperated the driver from us.
"Ashes!" I cried, afraid to even think of what she'll do.
Thank you Fredrick! He had his window closed, so when askes raced to the driver's window to hisss at the person in the window, she smacked into the glass. We busted up laughing in the back, I grabed Ashes and closed the window between the front. Ashes went to Alice, but Fredrick started moving. Ashes didn't have her footing correct, so she tripped, making the girls go 'awww' and the guys laughing it up.
Our glares shut them up quickly though. Uneasily Ashes made it to Alice and curled up between her and Jasper, pushing them away from each other.
The rest of the drive was very subtle compared to the 'McDonald' iccident as Emmett puts it.
We pull onto the brick road that leads to my Californian home. We have a home in almost every state, and some in foriegn countries, but i've never been to those. There was the iron gate with the two security dogs, and their secruity handelers. Dad had them patrol the outside of the house and at the gate enterance.
We stopped at the gate, wearily my friends looked out the windows. The handlers made the dogs stay at the gate just in case. The handelers as I just realized as Jeff and Tom, walked formaly to the car. and opened the doors.
"Hold still, there just checking to make we have no stow aways."
Ashes, the freaky cat, knew when to wake up as soon as the door opened and fluffed up, trying to scare the handelers, she hissed and rant to the door. He shut the door quickly keeping her in.
We laughed, and they moved back into their positions, the gate automaticly opened.
They put there faces to the glass, looking out.
I smiled as I saw the white Mansion. Home, even through I never lived here all the houses were built the same to make it so I couldn't get lost in any of the houses. As like every house there were people who opened the two giant doors at the top of the marble staris.
As soon as the door opened, Ashes burt out hisssing and went up the stairs, they opened the doors, and Ashes hissed, they jumped at the same time.
Appearently Ashes was moody today, or wanting to fight with Ace, though Ace wouldn't hurt her.
Alice, Rosalie, Japer, Emmett, and Edward stood looking with their mouths open.
"I would close your mouth before you attract flys."
