When you are always on the prowl in the god-forsaken streets of The Damned, for the scum of the earth you do it at night. And when you prowl at night you learn to sense the rising or setting of the sun.
"I hate this stupid city, its just full of rotten garbage and theives."
I sighed
Better get back to the caves or the pack will have at me.
I put my mask back on and dove off the rooftops to the empty streets below.
"Got you, you piece of shit."
I glanced back over my shoulder and casually threw one of my knives at him.
The knife landed with a meaty thunk in the fleshy part of the calf muscle.
He started screaming almost immediatly. I drew my K-bar from beneath my cloak. I walked over and kicked him in the face with my boot heel.
"You're going to be quiet, or im going to draw you another mouth this one red."
"Oh man, you really are as good as they say. I didnt even get my gun drawn."
"You should have had it out when I landed, and I should have seen you before I jumped,"I said quietly."
I yanked the throwing knife from his leg and he started screamning again.
I put the toe of the boot to the wound and pressed lightly.
He screamed once again.
"Shhh,"I said,"you dont want to wake the neighbors."
I started to press lightly on the wound again.
This time he managed to keep it to a whimper.
"Good, now your going to tell me who sent you here tonight."
"Hey, man, I was just told to come here and shoot the guy in the mask. I didnt see the guy who sent me."
"Then I no longer have use for you."
I took my boot of the guys leg and bent over him.
"Wait, can I least know the name of the guy whos gonna kill me!"
"No, but some call the Masked Wolf."
And I slit his throat.
