TALK SHOW HOST BONNIE HUNT WELCOMES JASON MESNICK OF ABC’S “THE BACHELOR” AND TRIES TO PREDICT WHICH GIRL GETS THE RING AT THE END, ON “THE BONNIE HUNT SHOW” AIRING ON MONDAY, JANUARY 10
(LOS ANGELES – January 9, 2009) – Talk show host Bonnie Hunt welcomes “The Bachelor’s” Jason Mesnick to discuss his quest for love, how he chose between the last two women and tries to predict the girl who won his heart, on “The Bonnie Hunt Show,” airing Monday, January 12 (syndicated / log on to bonniehunt.com for stations and times).
After the adoring and cheering crowd calms down, Bonnie grills Jason about dating on a reality show and tries to get him to reveal who won his heart at the very end.
Bonnie says, “Nikki. That’s who I think you are going to end up with.”
“Nikki stood out to me right away,” Jason responds. “She and I had great chemistry. I remember her when she got out of the limo. She was so easy to talk to, she had this little quiver in her cheek.”
Not falling for his easy answer, Bonnie challenges him and says, “I changed my mind because I fell for that little “Bachelor” trick where they make you think she is the girl. You are going to end up with Melissa.”
Jason doesn’t offer up a pat answer like he did with Nicky and only responds with saying, “Really.”
Bonnie gets Jason to open up about making that final decision that will change his life and he tells her, “I really honestly did fall in love with two girls. It really, really, really was the biggest rollercoaster day of my life. I was up all night. It’s really thinking what’s in your head, what’s in your heart, what’s in your soul, what’s in your gut and really following all those things at the same time.”
Jason reveals that he was not allowed to call his family for advice and admits that he has not even seen all of the episodes. He says, “I think it’s probably best, in my opinion, that the episodes aren’t watch so closely because there are genuine feelings that happen between me and other girls. It is just the way it works. If I didn’t open up my heart to do that, how can I make a real decision?”
Bonnie teases, “Well I hope you and Melissa are really happy together.”
From entertainment and pop culture to the news, Bonnie will talk with her audience and crew about anything and everything that’s on her mind. The top of the show is appointment television for viewers looking for a smart, funny, common sense reaction to the complicated world they live in.
“The Bonnie Hunt Show” is produced by Bob & Alice Productions and paraMedia inc. in association with Telepictures Productions and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
