Now that Christmas is officially here, George and Laura drove back to the Studios to meet with the other Beatles again. George exclaimed as they entered the recording room, "Merry Christmas, mates!" Laura added, "Merry Christmas, uncles!" They replied in unison, "Merry Christmas, Geo! Merry Christmas, Laura!" After getting settled, the lads began broadcasting their second message. It was filled with warm wishes for the fans and holiday-themed jokes. Even Sparkie had a brief stint when he squealed happily during Ringo's part! Once the message concluded, Laura clapped and remarked, "That was so amazing!" George replied, "Thank you very much indeed, Laura, darling! Yes, it truly was impressive." Paul added, "Yeah. I'll say that it was even better than last year's!" John replied, "That's for sure! Are you ready to open the presents, mates?" George responded, "You bet we are! Laura and I also bought some chocolate pudding for our post-message snack." Ringo said, "Chocolate pudding?! Yum! I love that." They all munched on the sweet treat while taking turns in opening the presents and Christmas crackers. Laura's gift was a green beret and a necklace with a guitar pendant. She remarked, "Oh, these are lovely! Thanks, daddy George!" He replied, "You're welcome, my darling! I'm glad you like them." After all of the presents and crackers were opened, John told the others, "There's going to be a choir performance in Trafalgar Square which will start in an hour. Would you like to watch it?" Ringo replied, "Sounds nice. Sure, mate!" George, Paul, and Laura nodded in agreement. Shortly after throwing the wrappers and empty pudding cups away, the group left the Studios and drove to Trafalgar Square. They then took photos around the giant Christmas tree and had another snowball fight. Sparkie joined in on the fun by rolling into his ball form and making some snow angels. The choir performance soon commenced, and everyone was mesmerized by their carols. As they watched, Laura rode on George's back and whispered, "This is the best Christmas I've ever had so far." George smiled and whispered back, "Well said, Laura, darling. Well said."

Prologue

For the first five years of her life, Laura was a carefree and energetic young girl. She had parents who loved her tremendously and often got excellent marks at her school. Overall, a promising future seemed to lie ahead of her. Then, one day, her life changed forever. As they were driving back home from a family outing, a runaway lorry suddenly came speeding towards them. Her father tried to steer away, but it was too late. Both vehicles had collided with each other. While she survived the crash, her parents sadly didn't make it as they were severely wounded and died from their injuries...

Hazel was sent to the hospital to be treated for her injury upon Jeremy's insistence. The bullet had only penetrated the skin, so removal wasn't difficult. Hazel was sent home to rest. Jeremy took her home and stayed with her so that she wouldn't be recovering alone. Later, John talked with Paul and said, "I'm going to find out where Hazel lives. I want to visit with her. I never got to thank her for what she did for us." Paul said, "We'll all go." He was also very proud that John started using the word "us" again. John sent Hazel an e-mail. With Jeremy typing for her, she told John what her...
