The bell rang. I ran to first period as quickly as I could. My teacher Mr. Sean told me that I was late to class, again.
“But, Mr. Sean, my dad woke up late, so I had to ride the bus…” I said but Mr. Sean interrupted me.
“Ms.Waterson, you may tell me the whole story after class.” He handed me a yellow detention slip and headed for the white board to write my name. I couldn’t stay for detention! I had my violin recital after my sister’s girl scout badge ceremony. Today is not going to be a good day.
At lunch a girl in line shoved me behind her. I didn’t know who that was. As I went to my table I noticed that my only friend Triss wasn’t sitting with me at my table. I looked around and spotted her. She was the girl that shoved me in line! I ran to her and pulled her to my table to talk.
“Trissy, why did you push me in line at lunch? What’s going on? You’re hanging out with the pops instead of me.” I said with a worried look on my face as she spoke.
“Hands off. I’m a pop now. I joined the cheerleading squad and became… well, different. So now I’m a pop. Bye, the other pops said to stay away from non-pops.” She then left in her high heels, tight lee-vi‘s , skinny shirt, and big curls of blonde hair. Now I feel like calling her Prissy Trissy.
After school I stayed for detention for five minutes telling Mr. Sean what happened this morning. He finally realized I was telling the truth and let me off with a warning. I ran to the parking lot where my mom and dad where waiting for me in the car. We headed off to pick up my sister because my mom and dad had to miss the ceremony to pick me up after detention
