Here is a list of my top five favorite episodes from Season One (2009-2010) of CBS's "THE GOOD WIFE", which stars Julianna Margulies:

TOP FIVE FAVORITE "THE GOOD WIFE" SEASON ONE EPISODES

1. (1.09) "Threesome" - Kevin Conway first appears as the firm's senior partner, Jonas Stern, who is defended by Alicia after he is arrested. Alicia also has to deal with Amber Madison, the prostitute who had slept with Peter, after the latter appears on a talk show.

2. (1.22) "Hybristophilia" - Dylan Baker makes his second appearance as Colin Sweeney, Alicia's wealthy client who is discovered by her, handcuffed...

SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t yet seen tonight’s season finale of The Good Wife stop reading now. We asked creators Robert and Michelle King to dissect the hour, which Robert directed, and tease where we’re headed in season 4.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Let’s start with Kalinda. She described her sexuality to Alicia as “flexible.” Is it flexible when she needs something, or flexible because she truly enjoys both men and women? What should we believe?
Robert King: I think what you want to believe, anyway, is that she can’t distinguish between enjoyment and need or...

Quotes from some of the episodes!

Episode 1: Pilot

Alicia: You're worried about my husband, Mr. Childs. You've obviously never made a woman angry.

Client: Does it ever get easier?
Alicia: No, but you do get better at it.

Alicia: You won't feel like it. But put on nice clothing. Force yourself to. Not for public. For you.

Diane: You have some very prominent baggage. But, hey, if [Hilary Clinton] can do it, so can you.

Dianet: When I was...

Alicia takes on a case for guest star Amanda Peet, and Maddie Hayward drops a bomb on Peter's campaign
By Breia Brissey

Wow. Well, I suppose having Maddie Hayward enter the gubernatorial race is one way to deal with the fact that Peter's main opponent, played by Matthew Perry, is currently starring in his own NBC sitcom. And as such, Perry may or may not be available to reprise his role as the Republican candidate Mike Kresteva. So enter Maddie Hayward a.k.a. a contingency plan!

Maddie—who's been pretty shady the last few episodes—finally admitted to Alicia...

This week I was called before a panel investigating the Independent Police Review Authority’s report on the Roland Masters shooting at the Addison CTA stop. The IPRA was created in 2007 in response to concerns about how allegations of police misconduct were being handled.

The Chicago City Council created the Independent Police Review Authority to replace the Office of Professional Standards (OPS), which was staffed by civilians but which still operated as part of the police department. The IPRA is staffed with civilian investigators and is an independent...
