This is my favorite scene in the whole movie.

After Billy was tackled by a defensive player, he walks in the locker room and was about to remove his shirt and he spots Jessica Spencer as janitor Spence cleaning up. Billy looks at her and feeling funny to undress in front of her.

Jake: What's the matter, man? you afraid the janitor is gonna see your "ding-dong"?

Billy chuckles

Jake: So what's up with you and the prom queen?

Billy: I don't know? I thought everything was fine but I guess I was wrong.

Jake: See, that's why you have to have a spear, man. That's what April is, she's my spear.

Billy: Spear?

Jake: Yeah, she's my back up. I mean no doubt about it, she's my previous vehicle. I'm into that new car smell.

Jessica: You, Asshole!

Both boys look back at Spence

Jessica: Whoever, left these towels over here, is an asshole.

Boys were confused and ignore her anyways

Jake: Now with this new chick I got... (whistles), Dude, she's gonna be the hottest chick at the prom. I'd bet one of her hottie friends would love to go out with a quarterback.

Billy: Uh.. I don't know, man.

Jake: Come on, Man. maybe this one will put out, unlike that cold-fish, Jessica.

Jessica: You go to hell!!

Both boys look back at her

Jessica: Whoever left the showers on, go to..hell.

Billy: Hey...Jessica's anything but a cold-fish, alright? She's the most amazing girl in the whole world.

Jake: Dude, you never been out of California.

Billy: I don't care. I love her. I mean, I know she thinks I want to have sex with her, but that's not what it is about. I mean, when that moment comes...I want it to be perfect.

Jess was stunned to hear him

Jake: Wow. That's the gayest thing, I ever heard.

Billy: She's the only girl who makes my heart beat faster and slower, the same time. When I'm not with her....I'm not living. I'm only existing when I can hold her in my arms again.

Jess whines with joy

Jake: Gay, gay, gay, gay.

Billy smiles as he rubs his forehead, then he and Jake hears Spence cry

Jessica: Somebody shit in the locker. sniffs

I love hearing the speech, Billy did. it's so heartwarming.
